Buckle up ig

This wasn't meant to happen till much later but it's payback towards cad !

"This is going to wreck him," Iris paced the room, Vee and Iris now alone in the room, "What the hell were you thinking, Vee?"

Vee stuttered, because what could she say?

The truth? Hell, if she knew what that was.

"It's just," Vee stammered, "Been a lot."

"What's been a lot," Iris asked angrily, "Having a boyfriend who would lay down his life for you? Ranboo is the sweetest, most caring person I've ever met, so I'm sorry if that was 'too much' for you, but that's not an excuse."

"No," Vee's eyes widened with desperation, "Not him, god no. Never him."

Iris watched the fumbling girl curiously, brows knitted together with anger as she forced herself to remain silent, waiting for the blonde's explanation.

"I never really," Vee stammered, desperately searching for the right words as her mind ran blank, "Had time to find myself. Which isn't an excuse. But after everything with Keira and-"

"You don't get to push your identity crisis onto Ranboo," Iris spoke sternly.

"I know," Vee said, digging her wrists into her eyes in frustration, the pressure somehow reassuring and stabling her, "He doesn't deserve that, I know."

"I can't give you some rational explanation, because God knows, there isn't one," Vee spoke, slowly trying to steady herself.

"It sort of just happened," Vee continued before Iris could speak up again, "We've all been through a lot, no one can deny that, and a lot was pent up from that, I think we both needed an outlet, and we found a really really shitty one."

Ollie had stayed on the other side of the door, sitting on the floor as she leaned against the door from the outside, the echo from the room allowed Iris and Vee's conversation to be heard loud and clear.

Quackity sat beside her, and while he thought all of it was completely and utterly fucked up, he couldn't deny the pang of sympathy he felt as he saw the pain in his friend's green eyes.

"It-" Quackity began, not sure where he was going with this, but realizing he had to continue as the brunette's attention snapped to him, desperate for a distraction, tears in her eyes, "It wasn't just an outlet for you, was it?"

Ollie suddenly choked out a sob, shaking her head as Quackity pulled her into his chest.

He had never seen her vulnerable, never seen such raw emotion from the girl.

Even when her parents were taken, when the text messages began, she blocked it out, never breaking down like this.

But her source of stability had crumbled. Part of her didn't care if they expressed it platonically or romantically, no matter which way they went about it, she had found her person. And now she had lost them just as quickly.

Vee would always choose Ranboo, and a part of Ollie hated herself for not being as adamant to choose Tommy.

She didn't know who she'd choose, but Vee made her choice for her, seemingly with no resignation at all.

"Molly," Tommy said softly, though he refused to look at her, his eyes looking distant.

"We should talk," he continued, Ollie nearly breaking on the spot, wiping her tears as she stood up and followed him into a private room.
