Once again writing in the middle of a val game, BUT TWO OF THE PEOPLE ON OUR TEAM JUST DIPPED??? Jett was flirting with me and I really don't know how to feel.

To say the room was tense would be a vast understatement. Vee was in the kitchen, attempting to help Iris make an actual meal for the group, while Ollie sat on the couch, fiddling with the hems of her shirt, lost in thought.

"Hey," Tommy hummed, lightly placing his hand on her back, breaking her from her thoughts.

Ollie only nodded, not trusting herself to speak.

Her throat ran dry at the sight of Tommy. She kissed Vee. Vee never specifically said "yes". What the fuck had she done?

"What's wrong, my love," Tommy said, sitting beside the brunette, pulling her closer from her back so she was resting her head on his shoulder.

"It's just," Ollie began, Tommy was her friend before he was her boyfriend, the two were partners in crime before any of this mess, any of the emotions, "It's a lot. I don't even fully know."

"That's okay," Tommy hummed, seemingly unphased as he comfortingly rubbed her back, "You don't need to have everything figured out, we'll figure it out together, yeah?"

Ollie nearly burst into tears right there, nodding slightly, knowing her voice would break the second she tried to reason anything out loud.

"You talk to Vee about it?" Tommy asked, his thumb lightly brushing over the skin on the back of her neck, and Ollie hated how all she could feel in that moment was the ghosted memory of Vee's arms around her neck.

It'd be easy to say it was a big mistake. Her and Vee would always be friends, and Ollie knew she could go to Vee, say it was an impulse because she was upset, and the blonde would forgive and forget while a sweet smile and a nod. And that'd be the end of it.

That's the reasonable option. Vee was reasonable, she'd agree.

Vee. Vee. Vee.

The answer was so simple. Too simple. Apparently too simple for Ollie's mess of a mind because still the only thing the brunette could think of was how goddamn badly she wanted to stride into the kitchen and kiss Vee right there. She wanted the privilege to ramble and rave about her newfound emotions to her friends. She wanted them to set the pair up as they had with Tommy. But she wasn't Tommy. Vee would never be Tommy. And no one else could possibly understand why Ollie was practically on her hands and knees begging to throw away the best thing that had ever happened to her.

Hell, she didn't know herself.

"Yeah," Ollie said slowly, leaning into Tommy more as if that would erase her scrambling thoughts, "Yeah, I spoke to Vee."

Tommy grinned down at the brunette, a proud smile. God, this would ruin him. It already ruined Ollie.

"That's good," Tommy exclaimed, a giddy smile still resting on his face, "You get it out of your system?"

Ollie froze. Did he know? Is that what Vee was? An impulse she just had to get out of her system. Maybe that was okay. She could get it out of her system. She could learn to not need Vee. She could-

"Like," Tommy continued, interrupting her thoughts, "You talk it out?"

He didn't know.

Maybe that was worse.

Ollie always hated secrets.

"Yeah," Ollie said, barely above a whisper, "All out of my system."
