CHAPTER 2

THE NEXT DAY

Bomin walked down the school hallways to his locker where his friends awaited for him. " There you are, we thought you wouldn't come after what that meanie did to you " Tag joked and they all laughed. Bomin smiled as he remembered yesterday, he saw versions of Y sunbae that he never knew the guy had when he acted all scary. " You good bro? " Seungmin waved his hand in his face.

Bomin snapped out of his thoughts and nodded, " Y-yeah, I'm good " he muttered and they all looked at each other. " Did he do anything to you? Did something happen? " his friends asked but he denied. " Nah, all he did was just be his usual self. That's all " he replied and they sighed in relief. Bomin opened his locker as his diary fell out, " Oh isn't that yours? Don't you always keep it with you? " Tag asked.

" Ugh I accidentally left it in here " he lied, they just nodded as they all headed to their classes. " That's weird, the nerd didn't yell at us or is even here. Did he skip school? " Seungmin wondered. He earned a smack by his friends, " Choi Sungyoon skipping school? Are you crazy? Are we even talking about the same person anymore? " they all said and Seungmin just shrugged.

Bomin also thought, Oh yeah, he's not here today like he usually would. Did he have a change of schedule? Wait? Why am I curious about that? I must be sick, he said to himself. The friends separated to their classes, they pushed the door to reveal the teacher and Y already waiting with the other students. " Well, how are you? Let's see, who should receive detention this time? " Y said as he walked towards them.

He handed all three of them detention passes, they looked at him in disbelief. He just smirked as he closed the door on his way out. " Now, I know you have a lot to say but I have something to announce to all of you so could you please take your seats, boys? " said the teacher as they frowned and headed to their place. Once all was seated, the teacher began. " So last night, someone stole something precious that belongs to the school ".

Students started murmuring and whispering amongst themselves, " Quiet " he hushed them and continued. " Y was here to explain the situation. He said that he and Bomin were the last to leave the school but they never even crossed paths with the principal's office. As for all of you, we will begin a search in your bags to find the item that went missing " he finished. Students groaned and glared at Bomin, he looked down whilst his friend gave them all a death glare.

I'm sorry everyone, I'm sorry guys. This is all my fault, he mumbled to himself before focusing to the teacher's lesson.

LATER AFTER SCHOOL

The long day had finally came to an end as students rushed to pack their bags and leave but was stopped by a visit from an unsuspected guest. " Evening everyone, open your bags and empty everything out. I wanna check all your bags " Y said in a serious tone, everyone groaned and started to unpack their stuff. Y walked down the rows, checking each students bags. Soon he reached the back row and arrived at Bomin's desk. " Go on, what are you waiting for? Empty it "

The junior sighed and began to unpack when something fell out, it was the stolen item! Y looked at Bomin in disbelief, the teacher shocked as well as his friends. Bomin was confused, " Wait, I didn't do it. I swear! I- ", " You two are free to go home " Y cut him off and excused them, mentioning them to leave the classroom and go home. Leaving him with the teacher and Bomin who was completely stunned.

" Follow us, Mr. Choi " the teacher said as they all left the classroom and walked to the principal's office. Along the way, Bomin held his head low. He was embarrassed of what he did even if it wasn't actually him. Tears started to form in his eyes, a lump formed in his throat as he felt out of breath. They soon arrived and was greeted by the secretary who immediately let them in.
