CHAPTER 23

The next morning

Bomin fluttered his eyes open and was face with a warm feeling in front of him. He wondered what it was but yelped once he found out it was Sungyoon's body and specifically his chest. 

He sat and looked at what happened. He swore that Sungyoon slept on the sofa and him on the bed but what happened. 

He tried to recall what happened but nothing to mind. As he was thinking, his secret boyfriend arose from his slumber. 

Bomin glanced as the boy stretched his arms and sat up too. 

" Something bothering you, my bear? What's up? " 

He said groggily and put his head on the boy's shoulder. Bomin blushed at the nickname, Sungyoon panicked when the boy was quiet. 

" Did I make you uncomfortable? " 

" Ani, I like it. I'm okay " 

" You know you can tell if you want but if it's something personal, you can keep it to yourself. Just know that I'm here to be an ear to listen " 

Bomin looked down as the older said the words. He felt bad that he got such a nice lover like him. He doesn't deserve Sungyoon who truly cared and loved him with his whole heart. 

" Hyung " 

" Mhm? " 

" I wanna know how we end up like this "

" Like what? "

" In the same bed " 

" Ah that " 

Bomin blushed and looked away. Sungyoon too was quiet before tapping the boy's shoulder. Bomin turned to look at the older who pulled him into a sweet kiss. 

Bomin was taken aback but kissed back, cheeks flaring red. They pulled away seconds later as the brunette hung his head on the older's shoulder. 

Sungyoon just chuckled and pecked the top of his head which doubled his shyness. 

" You had a nightmare about something and asked me to keep you company so I did "

" Ah I see "

Bomin cursed at himself for thinking that Sungyoon would take an opportunity on him. Sunyoon noticed his expression and pulled him closer, giving him a peck on the cheek.

" Don't worry, I'll never make you uncomfortable or take advantage of you " 

" I know you won't, I love you " 

" I love you too, baby " 

Sungyoon replied and kissed the boy to which he kissed back. They pulled away and got ready for their weekend. Sungyoon decided to take him out for a walk. 

I mean you could say a date but Sungyoon prefers the term going out for walks or hanging out since they weren't technically dating. They were more like secret lovers, trying to keep lowkey and to help keep it that way. Bomin invited Junseo and Yohan too. 

Sungyoon was hesitant after Bomin said that but he also wanted to make amends with his friends so what could possibly go wrong. Well.....

As they arrived at the spot, Junseo was tense and looked away while Yohan tried to act cool. 

" Hey, Bomin "

Junseo greeted cheerfully but went cold when Sungyoon sat in front of him. Honestly, Sungyoon felt sad and left out. Throughout the double date, he plastered a fake smile as they all chatted happily. 

Then, Sungyoon excused himself to the toilet. Once he got there, he pulled out something from his pocket and popped it in his mouth. It was a relief pill during his time in the hospital.
