CHAPTER 6

SUNGYOON'S POV

I woke up, it was a Saturday morning. I looked at the clock, I have a lot of time left before my shift starts. I decided to head to the gym to clear my mind from everything that's been going own. I walked into my closet and got dressed in sports attire before heading to the bathroom to wash my face. 

After that, I walked down the stairs to the kitchen for a little snack. You probably wonder why my life is a little quiet. Well, that's because my parents are business people so they aren't often around. I'm used to being alone but honestly, having a little company wouldn't hurt. That's why I'd often invite Junseo, Yohan and they're friends over.

I enjoy their company very much, I have more people to rely and talk to instead of keeping these feelings to myself. I sighed and grabbed my bike keys, locking the house the door and left for the gym.

30 MINUTES LATER

I arrived at the gym that I usually went to, I swung the door as a the reception person greeted me. " Sungyoon, long time no see! " Yeonjun greeted me, " That's hyung to you but yeah, sorry for not coming. School's been busy " I replied and he chuckled. " That's okay, hyung. I've also been out these past few days cause I have exams coming up " he said.

I hummed and nodded my head, " The usual? " he asked and I smiled. " Cool, I cleaned it just in case you'd come ", " Thanks, Jun " I thanked. " No problem, hyung! Call me if you need anything " he reassured and I chuckled before he left and I began my workout.

SOME TIME LATER

I checked my watch and decided to go home to wash up and get ready for my shift. I packed my stuff, wiping the sweat off my forehead, grabbing my bag and left to the main desk. " Thanks for today, Yeons " I waved goodbye, " Bye, hyung! Come again soon " he shouted from the inside and I laughed. 

I hoped onto my bike and rode home. Upon arrival, I saw someone standing at my front gate, I immediately parked my bike beside him and took of my helmet. " May I help you? " I asked and the person turned to look at me, it was Bomin.

" Oh it's you " I said in a dead tone, " Hi, sunbae " he waved hello but I ignored. I opened the gate and entered, Bomin following me from behind. " What are you doing here? What do you want? " I asked him as I opened my front door and walked in. " Um..it's about yesterday " he said nervously as I gave him a 'go on' look.

" Okay, I'm sorry for skipping detention yesterday. I know it was wrong and if it makes you feel better, I'll do one this coming Monday " he said as he closed his eyes and squeezed his fist. I looked at him weirdly at first before bursting into laughter, he raised his and looked at me.

His face was red with embarrassment as I continued laugh, I took a deep breath before speaking up. " Sorry for laughing but I know that's not why you're here, aren't you? " I looked at him with one brow raised. He chuckled nervously as his face grew even more red, I laughed and headed upstairs to which he followed.

I opened my room and entered with him, following me like a baby duck. I offered him to sit on my bed while I went into the bathroom to get clean and freshen up.

AUTHOR'S POV 

Bomin looked around Sungyoon's room, it was big for one person. Even his house was spacious, he wondered if Sungyoon lived alone. He got up and decided to look around his room, he looked through his books and shelves, he really is organised. Even his books are organised according to size, he thought.

He then stumbled upon a family picture of Sungyoon and his parents, this must be his family picture. I wonder why he lives alone and not with his parents, does he miss them? Why live in a big house when you can live with your loved one? He thought to himself before getting disturb by a voice.

" What do you think you're doing? " Sungyoon said as he stepped out the bathroom. Bomin was surprise and dropped the picture before turning to the older. It was a big mistake, the older had nothing on him but a towel wrapped around his waist. Bomin's face grew red and closed his eyes, " I'm sorry, I was just curious. I didn't take anything, I swear! " he explained.

Sungyoon looked at him weirdly because of his behaviour before realising the problem. He blushed before getting into his closet and changed into a black top and white jeans. " You can open your eyes now " he said and the younger did so but slowly. 

" I'm sorry, it's a habit. When you're used to being alone, you even forget a few things. My bad " Sungyoon apologised. " No worries, it's fine " Bomin replied, still avoiding the older's eyes. Sungyoon walked over to him and picked up the picture, he smiled to himself. 

" You're probably thinking why I live alone, huh? " he asked and Bomin just kept silent. Sungyoon just chuckled and placed the picture back at its place. He went to sit on his bed, " Hey " he called out and patted the empty space behind him.

Bomin looked at him and followed, sitting next to Sungyoon. The older smiled at the younger and leaned down to grab his bag on the floor. He then pulled out Bomin's diary and handed it to him. " Here's your diary " Sungyoon stated and Bomin grabbed it as he sighed in relief.

He then snapped out of it and glared at the older, " What? ". " You didn't read anything, did you? " he asked and leaned closer to the older. Sungyoon backed up, " Of course not, why would I want to read your diary? " he replied and pushed Bomin to the back.

" Okay then, I'll believe you this time. Anyway, I gotta go now. I promised Daeyeol hyung that I'd meet him at the park today " Bomin added on and got up, placing his diary in his bag. " Okay, I have a shift I have to head to so thank you for the visit I guess " Sungyoon said.

The older walked to his closet, grabbed a leather coat and a watch before leaving his room with Bomin behind and they both left his house. " See you at school, sunbae " the younger waved goodbye and walked away. Sungyoon watched as the boy disappeared into the far before starting his bike and drove to work.
