CHAPTER 8

THE NEXT DAY

Sungyoon groaned in pain, his head banged and he felt sick. Damn it, I have a shift now and I have to cover for Junseo too. Ugh my head, he said getting up. His head hurt so bad, he felt like fainting.

He went down to the kitchen and took out a few relief pain pills, he took a few then went back to his room to get ready for his shift.

AT THE CAFE

It was packed with tons of customers, orders came flying as the waiters ran around. It was pretty hectic and tiring when Sungyoon's head started to act up again. 

Ugh, please not now. I have a ton of shit to do now, just go away. He huffed, inhale and exhaled, " Sungyoon, are you okay? " a female staff asked. 

" Yeah, I'm okay. Just having a headache from this morning, I took some pills this morning to lessen the pain " he replied with a smile. 

" Okay then but if it's bothering you, just tell me, alright? I'll help " she stated and head back to work. " Okay, thanks " he thanked and went back to work.

Surprising the time flew by fast, soon the day turned to night. Customers started to lessen little by little, Sungyoon sighed in relief. Thank goodness this is ending soon, he thought to himself.

" You can leave the closing up to me, Sungyoon. Go home and rest, you really need " the same female staff spoke from behind. " Ah, no. I'm okay, I'll do the closing up, you should go home " he defended.

" No, you go home now and rest. Go before I tell the boss that you're overworking yourself, you know how much he hates that " Sihyeon said and pushed him to the staff room. 

" Alright, thank you " he said and she smiled. " No problem " and headed back to work, Sungyoon packed his stuff and walked out the cafe. He bid Sihyeon and the other workers farewell and headed home.

THE NEXT DAY (At school)

Bomin smiled happily to himself at thought of their first date, he likes me too!! Omg, I can't believe he likes me back!! He screamed in his head like a girl, doing so he didn't realise where he was looking and bumped into someone.

" I'm sorry " he apologised and looked at the person, " It's fine " the student replied and went his way. Bomin scratch his nape in embarrassment, look where you're going, Choi Bomin! You could've hurt someone.

Again without paying attention to his direction, he bumped and fell on someone. He groaned in pain and opened his eyes, he yelped at the person below him. It was Sungyoon.

Yikes, he immediately got up. Sungyoon did the same and brushed the dirt off him, " S-sorry for that, sunbae " he apologise and prayed that he wouldn't be given detention.

Instead off replying, Sungyoon just gave him a dead look and went on his way. Bomin felt offended, did he just ignore me? Me? Choi Bomin? Rude much, he mumbled under his breath. 

' Students, please head over to the assembly hall for an announcement about our school's sports day and also our usual, yearly competition between schools ' the pa announced over the speakers.

IN THE ASSEMBLY HALL

" Good morning, students. I'm headmaster Sunggyu, I have a few announcements to tell you all about our sports day and our yearly competition between schools. Before I go on, are there any questions? No? Okay then, like every year, we will have our sports day at the school between grades. Choose your team members wisely for each game, students! Our sports representative, Lee Daeyeol will help and monitor all of you " the headmaster stated.
