CHAPTER 24

At the hospital

Ryu sat beside Sungyoon, looking down to the floor.

" I'm sorry I got you into this, sunbae. I don't care if you're a Mafia's son or not, you're my friend and I don't wanna lose my friends "

Then the door swung open, a lady and man walked into the room and rushed to Sungyoon.

They panicked and shook the boy vigorously. Then they looked to Ryu and aimed a gun at her.

" What did you do to my son?! What do you want, you little bitch?! "

Ryu freaked out and backed away until her back hit the wall.

" I-I didn't do anything, I swear!! "

" Check her bag, honey"

The lady ordered as the man snatched her bag and dumped everything on the floor. He started going through them.

" H-hey! Hands off my stuff. I did nothing!! You're son is a hero, he saved me "

Ryu shouted at the couple which made the stop what they were doing. They got on their feet and looked at her.

" He did what? "

" He saved me from getting taken by weird men in the park. I'm his junior and he saved me. If it weren't for, your son wouldn't even be here or you wouldn't even find him "

" Are you making up stories? My son doesn't have friends, let alone a girl. Or are you one of those crazy chicks who want revenge? Tell me, how much do you want? "

The lady scoffed, taking out her purse and threw money into Ryu's face.

" Take it and leave. Don't ever come looking for my son "

" No "

" What did you say? "

" I said no, ma'am "

" Well, I guess I'm going to force you to leave. Guards!  "

She snapped her finger and a bunch of men came walking in. Ryu freaked out before punching them without realising.

I mean who wouldn't punch random men if you were suddenly attacked? I would or at least get the staff to come.

Ryu fought off the men while the lady just glared at her. She took off her coat and threw it aside, attacking the young girl. 

Ryu was a little smaller than the lady so she basically fled across the room like a little mouse, running from a cat. 

" Come here, brat! " 

Right before the lady could have her head, a gun shot was heard in the room. They looked at the dart board which had a gun shot mark and looked towards the person who shot it. It was Sungyoon.

" Son, you're awake! " 

The mother exclaimed and ran to the son. She took him into her arms and wept, hugging him and telling him that she was being beaten by Ryu but the girl said nothing and let the lady have her time.

Little did she know that Sungyoon was never asleep. He had fainted and was carried to the room. Several minutes, he woke up and saw Ryu waiting up for him. 

He panicked and asked her to leave his room but Ryu refused and wanted to make sure he's okay but when she could, that's when they came.

Ryu just stood there silently, picking up her things from the floor. She brushed her bag and made sure that everything that fell was okay. 

Sungyoon glanced over to Ryu. The girl smiled at him and muttered a sorry and thank you before asking the guards if she could leave. They looked at their boss and the man let her go.
