CHAPTER 22

At the cafe 

Sungyoon swung the door open and was taken to the staff room. He closed his eyes, thinking someone was gonna harm him but soon realised that it was Junseo. 

Before he could say anything, Junseo bombarded him with questions. Sungyoon just looked at him and kept quiet. Junseo being frustrated to get answers from Sungyoon.

" You're a mafia's son? " 

Was the last question he was bombarded and immediately shushed him. Now you might guess why his parents are never at home, right? 

Sungyoon's family has been generation mafias for years until their grandfather had a tragic accident that caused a lot of pain to the family.

From that day forth, his mother forbade him to do any murdering or physical contact with a subject. That's why he's never strangled his best friend for cheating on Bomin yet.

He was only allowed to inform and mentally destroy his subjects. His disguise was the one that all the students hated aka the head student who had the power to give them detention.

" Shh! Low it down, you're gonna get me caught " 

Sungyoon mentioned and pushed Junseo out the room to change and get ready for work. Junseo frowned and went back to work while Sungyoon was paranoid if someone heard their conversation.

Later that night

Their shift had ended a while ago but Junseo had to wait till Yohan comes to pick him up so Sungyoon offered to stay back and wait too. They didn't talk since Junseo had been ignoring them since work started.

" Yah, Kim Junseo. Are you mad at me for not telling you this? " 

Junseo ignored him and looked away from the boy. Sungyoon sighed, why is he like this today? Did something happen today? 

" Kim Junseo " 

The boy continued to ignore him for the rest of the day till the end of their shift. After closing up the store, Sungyoon noticed Junseo sitting outside the store on the bench. 

He was looking at his phone and waited for Yohan to wait for him. Sungyoon decided to wait for him to go home despite the way he treated him today. 

He just stood near the bench and played with his phone. Bomin texted him and he smiled like a fool.

Hyung, has you
finished your shift? 

Mm, why? 

Hehe....I sorta need
help with my homework

You don't have
to come if you-

I'll come, I'll be a little late
since Yohan hasn't
picked Junseo up yet 

Ah, alright

Bye, baby boy.

Sungyoon chukled and closed his phone. Turned to look at the boy beside him, Junseo was fast asleep. They did have a pretty hectic day today. Especially with them finding out that he's a mafia's son.

He sat down beside the boy and placed Junseo's head on his shoulder and waited for Yohan. He sighed and checked his phone from time to time. Where are you, Kim Yohan?
