The Hogwarts Founders Return

chapter fourteen summer at Hogwarts

All the other students were gone for the summer all that remained at Hogwarts was Harry, Salazar, Godric, Helga, Rowena and all the Professors. Harry and the four founders were in the library. The four founders were talking in secret. Harry walks up to them.

"Hey what you four up to?" Asked Harry.

"We are doing research on how to become Animagus we wanted to do it in our first life's but was always too busy but now that we just students we figured we could all do it together," said Godric.

"Oh, my dad is a Animagus so isn't Sirius he just went to register before he got in trouble. Can I join you guys I want to be an Animagus to," said Harry.

"Sure, we going to need to get five Mandrake Leafs we need to keep them in our mouths for a whole month anyone know where we can get them?" Asked Godric.

Rowena pulled out five Mandrake Leafs from her bag and handed everyone one.

"Ok, so we got to keep them in our mouth for a whole month so good luck everyone and remember we don't want the teachers to know what we are doing so it's best to do it now while we aren't in classes," said Godric.

All five of them put the Mandrake leaf in their mouth.

"Ew, these things are nasty," said Helga.

"Aww, is little Ol' Helga giving up already," teased Salazar.

"No, I'm not I just was saying they taste nasty shut up Slytherin," said Helga.

"So, what do we do after this?" Asked Harry.

"We need to get stuff from a spot that no one ever touched Rowena is working on getting everything else we need then we hide the vial and wait for a lightning storm while we wait, we have to do an incantation every sunrise and sundown," said Godric.

One month later they met back up in the library put all the remaining stuff in their vials and they went down to the grounds and hide their vials. That night when the sun went down, they said their incantation 'Amato Animo Animato Animagus'. Three weeks passed until the lightning storm, and they all ran out to where their vials all. They all looked like they supposed to.

"Yes, we all did it now we got to do the incantation again then drink the vial all of it then we will turn and don't get scared, or something could go wrong there is no turning back now," said Godric.

They all did it and a few minutes later they all were their animal forms. Salazar as a snake, Godric as a lion, Rowena as a eagle, Helga as a badger and Harry as a stag just like his dad. They all turned back to their human form.

"That was amazing tomorrow we will all go to the Ministry and register Harry you should go tell your parents," Said Godric.

Harry ran up to his parents' room.

"Hey son what you up to," said James.

Harry took out his wand said the incantation and turned to his Animagus form.

"Ah, wicked son you need to go register though Sirius went and registered to," said James.

"Yeah, me and the founders will go register tomorrow," said Harry turning back to his human form.

"Oh, Mr. Weasley wrote a letter he going to come pick you up here in a few days for the Quidditch World cup. He invited me and your mom but your mom isn't feeling up for it so we declined the invitation," said James. "But when you get back me, you and Sirius can go out running around in our Animagus forms."

"Sounds fun dad, can't wait and thank you for letting me go to the world cup this summer," said Harry.

"No problem son, just have fun I have a lot to do here anyways next term is going to be a fun one," said James.

"Why's that?" Asked Harry.

"I'm afraid I can't tell you why Harry you will have to wait and find out just like the rest of the students have to," said James

"Well, what is the point of having your parents be your professors if they can't tell you stuff before everyone else is allowed to find out," said Harry.

James laughed. Just then Sirius walked in. He was looking a lot better than he was a couple months ago not all skin and bones and actually looks alive and happy. Sirius and James have been almost inseparable since Sirius has been out of prison. Lupin even comes back to the castle a lot to visit with them.

"Hey Padfoot, you won't believe this, but Harry became an Animagus," said James.

"Oh, yeah wow he did better than us it took us until our fifth year at Hogwarts to figure out how to do it right," said Sirius.

"Yeah, well I did have the founders helping me they became Animagus also," said Harry.

"Well, what are all of your guys forms then?" Asked Sirius.

"I'm a stag and the founders all became the animals that their house represents," said Harry.

"Aww now your defiantly baby Prongs," said Sirius.

"Shut up snuffles," said Harry get embarrassed.

A few days later Harry left for the Weasley's.
