Chapter eleven Caught with the map

Weeks have passed. Harry couldn't sleep after finding out Sirius Black is his God Father and really is the reason his parents died to begin with. Harry thought about talking to his parents about it but didn't want to upset them, so he kept the secret that he knows to himself.

Once he was walking around, he saw Severus Snape approaching him on the map. Harry quickly said Mischief Managed and the map in his pocket, but it was too late Harry was caught.

"Potter so much like your father strutting around the castle at night," said Snape.

"My dad don't strut and neither do I," said Harry.

"Turn out your pockets, Potter," said Snape.

Harry took out the map from his pocket. Snape touched the map with his wand.

"Show me your secrets," said Snape.

Words appear on the map.

"Read it out loud," demanded Snape.

"Mr. Moony presents his compliments to Professor Snape and begs him to keep his abnormally large nose out of other people's business," Harry read out loud.

Snape froze. Harry struggled not to laugh.

"Go on read the next part," said Snape.

"Mr. Prongs agrees with Mr. Moony and would like to add that Professor Snape is an ugly git."

"Mr. Padfoot would like to register his astonishment that an idiot like that ever became a professor."

"Mr. Wormtail bids Professor Snape good day, and advises him to wash his hair, the slimeball."

Snape called for Remus.

"You called, Severus," said Lupin mildly.

"Yes, I did I asked Potter to empty his pockets and he pulled out that parchment that is full of dark magic."

"Full of Dark Magic?" Lupin repeated mildly. "Do you really think so, Severus?" It looks to me as though it is merely a piece of parchment that insults anybody who reads it. Childish, but surely not dangerous? I imagine Harry got it from a joke shop-"

Lupin took Harry to his office.

"Your Father is an IDIOT giving you that map," said Lupin. Calling James to his office.

A few minutes later James Potter arrived in Lupin's office.

"Hey what happened why is Harry here?" Asked James.

"James, can you please explain to me why you thought it would be a good idea to give Harry the map?" Asked Lupin.

"Map what map I don't know anything about a map," said James.

"Are you serious?" Asked Lupin.

"Nope I'm still not Sirius. Remus you have gotten confused in your old age," said James.

"Really is starting to get old with that joke now why did you give him the map?"

"We don't need it anymore I thought Harry needed it more."

"He was caught tonight walking around with it by Snape."

"Oh, Snivellus being a slimy git again, is he?"

"Stop it, James take the map back and DON'T GIVE IT BACK TO HARRY."

James took the map back and went back to his room. Lupin sent Harry back to the Gryffindor common room.

It was time for the Quidditch final game, James came up to Harry at breakfast.

"Good luck Harry, I hope you win the cup," said Harry.

"Thanks dad."

Later that day they were playing Quidditch when Harry saw the snitch getting to it before Draco Malfoy and winning the cup for Gryffindor. James ran out to the pitch and picked up Harry as soon as he landed.

"YEAH, MY SON CAUGHT THE SNITCH HE WON THE QUIDDITCH CUP," said James.

"James put your son down your embarrassing him," said Lily.

James put harry and Lily came and gave Harry a hug.

"Congratulation's Harry you did amazing son," said Lily.

"Yeah, I'm sure Snivellus is mad that his house didn't win he probably cry in the dungeons for weeks," said James.

"JAMES POTTER DO WE NEED TO GO TALK TO DUMBLEDORE ABOUT HOW YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BEING NICE TO SEVERUS AGAIN," yelled Lily.

"No Hun, I'm sorry," said James.

"I need to talk to the both of you in private," said Lily.

They all went somewhere private.

"What's wrong, Lil," asked James.

"I'm pregnant," said Lily.

"Really, mom, that's great I'm going to have a little brother or sister I'm so excited," said Harry.

"Glad you're happy but I already talked to Dumbledore I won't be able to teach next term, but Dumbledore agreed to me staying here in the castle with all of you until I can start teaching again," said Lily.
