Carlos walked into the grocery store with his gun in one hand and flashlight in the other hand
" Austin Pd show yourself!" Carlos called out as the person stepped out from the bathroom it was a little girl Carlos lowered his gun " hey hey it's okay ." Carlos said walking over slowly "I'm not gonna hurt you ." Carlos said crouching down next to the little girl
"I'm sorry ." The little girl said " my names Carlos what's your name ?" Carlos asked " willow .." she whispered " how old are you willow ?" Carlos asked as the little girl sat on the floor "5.." she said " wanna tell me what your doing here all alone in a grocery store in a storm ?" Carlos said " the bridge flooded I got cold ..I was hungry .." the little girl said " am I in trouble ?" Willow said "no your not in trouble .." Carlos said getting off the floor Carlos got a yogurt and some orange juice from the shelf putting 30 dollars on the counter just to cover what ever else she might have eaten " here ." Carlos said heading the little girl the yogurt and orange juice
The little girl ate the yogurt as Carlos sat on the floor next to her " do you know where your parents are ?" Carlos asked the little girl " they died car accident.." she said looking down " sorry I didn't know .." Carlos said " they tried putting me in homes nobody wanted me and group homes never work so I just resorted to being on my own ." The little girl said "cmon ." Carlos said standing up The little girl shot him a questioning look " your coming home with me ." Carlos said " really ?" The little girl said excited out " yeah let's go ." Carlos laughed giving the little girl his coat
