It was tk and Carlos's 2 year anniversary they made reservations to have diner at a place they wanted to try for awhile but with everything going on in their live they had never got to the task it wasn't to fancy more of just a casual spot that's was until Carlos found himself hanging over a toilet in the bathroom

The bathroom smells awful he feel like he got chewed and spit out by a giant tk didn't see upset or disappointed when he entered the bathroom to see Carlos hung over the toilet he was just concerned Carlos can't blame him if he being truly honest he would have the same reaction if the shoe was on the other door but Carlos can't fight the guilt of ruining the twos 2 year anniversary

All Carlos wanted to do was have a nice day with tk and celebrate their love for one another but that was ruined Carlos ended go eating something at work and ended up with food poisoning just his luck why why this day he thought to himself a little time passed and tk opens the bathroom door with a bag from the pharmacy "your car is in superior condition not a scratch ." Tk said joint Carlos on the Carlos always let tk use his car when he needed it tk had his license of course but he was never the biggest fan of driving so he never bothered to get a car so Carlos would just let tk use his sure it might not seem like a huge deal but tk was great full that Carlos trusted him enough with it "and you ?" Carlos said looking at tk "hm?" Tk said in confusion " I care more about you then about the car ." Carlos said " well yeah I'm fine to then ." Tk said "I only went to the pharmacy ." Tk laughed " you got kidnapped from a parking lot ." Carlos aid shaking his head " fair enough ." Tk said opening the bag

"How are you feeling better worse ?" Tk asked " worse I feel like dying .." Carlos said releasing another pile Into the toilet " no dying on my watch but you do look like shit ." Tk said Carlos let out a little chuckle "that confirms we're out of the honeymoon stage ." Carlos said

"You've never looked more beautiful to me .." tk said as Carlos looks at him tiredly he's exhausted his mind is overflowing with guilt "have you drunk anything baby ?" Tk ask as Carlos shook his head in fear of saying another word as he felt another round of Luke build up "try to drink something sweetheart if you can't keep it down I'll put a IV in. So at least you have some fluids ." Tk said

"I don't think food poisoning requires a paramedic." Carlos said " well your dating one ." Tk said giving Carlos a bottle of Gatorade " you shouldn't have to bring work home.." Carlos said taking a sip tk looks at him in confused "you really think I'm doing this because it's my job ?" Tk said shaking his head "I'm doing this because I love you and want to help ." Tk said

Carlos knows how much Tk loves him anytime he has a fever cold even the slightest cough tk helps make him feel better if he has a rough day at work he doesn't even need to say anything tk has already laid comfy clothes out and drawn a bath for him upstairs he rubs his shoulders to help release the stress and he's always reminding him how much he loves him

"I know I'm glad your here .." Carlos said " are you feeling well enough to leave the bathroom make it to the bedroom maybe ." Tk said rubbing Carlos shoulder Carlos shook his head "sorry." Carlos croaked out "okay that's fine nothing wrong with the bathroom ." Tk said kissing Carlos's shoulder " you don't have to stay here you know I can handle -." Carlos said a tk cut him off " no way I'm leaving when your feeling this terrible oh which reminds me ." Tk said reaching into the bag pulling out fake battery candle and a rose " this is for you ." Tk said handing him the rose as he turned on the fake candle " it's all they had at the store ." Tk laughed "thank you ." Carlos said accepting the rose " now it's a anniversary." Tk smiled lovingly at Carlos Carlos appreciated even though the unfortunate circumstances they had been gifted sucked that Tk's still tried to make it as good as possible

" you want to lay down I can get a pillow and a blanket or two ." Tk said rubbing Carlos back Carlos nodded as tk went across the hall getting there comforter and two pillows the two lay down on the floor looking up at the ceiling " you know I don't mind that our plans got canceled right ." Tk said knowing Carlos is probably feeling horrible " you don't have to try to make me feel better ." Tk said stroking his boyfriends curls Carlos was swallowed in his own self pity he felt horrible " and I'm not just saying that to make you feel better would I love if you could stand in your feet and not puke out everything yeah but we can have dinner another night it just matters that your okay ." Tk said Carlos actually believes what tk tell him it was a miracle the two got the night off together in the first place " yeah ." Carlos said " it's just a day ." Tk said

It is ridiculous, but it breaks Carlos' heart a little. He knows it is not TK's fault if he isn't bothered by the cancellation or if he doesn't see their anniversary the same way as he does, but he still wanted to make it special " it is .." Carlos lies lightly sighing " that came out wrong ." Tk said "it's fine you don't have to -." Carlos said " it's not fine I don't want you thinking that it isn't special to me because it is you mean the world to me and I've been more happy then I've ever been with you and would it have been nice to go out yeah but all I really wanted was to spend the day with the man I love and sure this wasn't the plan we're here we're together and we're spending time so I'm happy ." Tk said rubbing Carlos's hand

" I bet the restaurant smells better ." Carlos laughed "I don't know what your talking about officer ." Yk laughed "how about this we both have next Thursday off we can celebrate our 370 days together then together not in a bathroom ." Tk said " I'd like that ." Carlos said rubbing Tk's hand "and I'll make dinner today once your ready to depart from the toilet ." Tk teased " trying to give me double food poisoning that's just cold ." Carlos teased " very funny asshole but your on a very stomach friendly diet so pick applesauce and rice or banana and toast ?" Tk asked " considering your history with the toaster ill take applesauce and rice ." Carlos said " okay then that's what I'm having to ." Tk said " you don't have food poisoning." Carlos said sitting up " to be honest with you whatever I would make for myself would be worse so this is the best option ." Tk laughed

Late that night the two settled in on the bathroom floor to sleep just incase Carlos had another round in him "I'm sorry I ruined today ." Carlos said "nothings ruined to be honest it wasn't a bad anniversary was it the best maybe not but we could have done a lot worst if we're being Honest ." Tk said " the 1 dollar candle really saved this ." Carlos laughed " yeah it did ." Tk laughed " I'm not sure if you've noticed but we have a tendency of messing up dinner plans especially big ones ." Tk laughed " I wouldn't be surprised that when we get married a natural disaster will strike ." Carlos laughed " there should be a safety manual ." Tk joked " evacuation plans definitely." Carlos said " we should get started on those invitations." Tk said
