It had been over 2 days and Carlos still hadn't woken up tk hadn't left his side except for a few hours so he could feed Bailey , shower and stop by his dads place to see Willow and put her to sleep and help her with homework
He was grateful for his dad especially now Owen was perfectly fine watching Willow and taking her to dance and school night especially with what was going on with Carlos Owen had been through it himself and he sees the strain it took on his loved ones meaning tk and he felt bad that his son was going through this again
"Can I talk to you about something ?" The nurse said walking in " yeah ." Tk said stepping out of the room "did you guys figure out why he's so tired ?" Tk said " I'm afraid it's not tiredness that Mr. Reyes is experiencing he has fallen into a coma am he has been since he got out of surgery ." The nurse said "I'm confused are you sure he isint just tired I mean he likes to sleep a lot maybe he's just resting ." Tk said looking at Carlos through the glass door " I'm afraid he's not.. it's confirmed he has slipped into a coma ." She said " I'm so sorry ."
Not long later Owen showed up tk didn't call him but he knew what tk needed " tk ..." his dad said rubbing his sons shoulder to was startled turning around " cmon we're switching." Owen said " dad it's fine I've got it ." Tk said " go home be with your guys little girl she misses her daddy and you need rest come back in the morning okay ." Owen said " and by morning I mean after 10 am ." Owen said " dad -" tk said " tk I promise go I love you ." Owen said " love you to dad ." Tk said
Tk got home as Willow ran to him " daddy !" She said " hey bug ." Tk said giving her a kiss " I heard you were a good girl for grandpa .." Willow nodded later that night Willow sat on the floor coloring as Carlos's condition started to consume tk he wanted to be strong for Willow he didn't want to cry admit he was in pain but Willow noticed when tears started coming down Willow sat on the couch next to tk lifting his arm up so she could get under to give him a hug " it's okay daddy ." She said " thank you sweetie .." tk said wiping his face
