I woke up in the extreme pain I didn't get how tk survived without any pain meds I looked over at tk who was still sleeping he looked peaceful he needed to catch up on some sleep I wanted him to do I grabbed my crutches from the side of the bed putting them back on ground lifting myself up the ground

And of course with my luck I fell tk woke up noticing Carlos was on the ground " Carlos what the -" tk said " are you okay ?" Tk said crouching down to tk " I woke up in pain didn't wanna wake you figured I could get my stuff on my own ." Carlos said as tk helped him back up to the bed " you should have woke me I would have got it for you I told you I'm not bothered by this ." Tk said getting Carlos pills from the bathroom

" you have shift tonight I wanted to let you get your rest ." Carlos said " your job isn't to worry about me Cmon I'm gonna make your breakfast so that way you can take these ." Tk said " lean ." Tk said helping Carlos stand " there we go ." Tk said placing Carlos on the bar stools they had in the kitchen at the island
" tk got the eggs out getting a bowl cracking two for Carlos " you don't have to -" Carlos said "I'm fine with cereal really ." Carlos said " please just let me help ." Tk said "I'm not a baby you know ." Tk said mixing the eggs with spinach and ham "I never said you were ?" Carlos said confused "but your treating me like one ." Tk said " it's only been a day and every time I try to help you weather you need help showering ,shaving , walking or anything else you try to make it easy on me or try to do it yourself even though you know you can't ." Tk said sitting the eggs in the pan " because I don't want you to feel like my nurse ." Carlos said rubbing his face " I don't feel like your nurse I wanna help you what's the matter with that ?" Tk said plating the eggs " because I don't want you to have a incompetent husband ." Carlos said as to gave him his eggs " you think I really care about that for gods sake you married a paramedic I'm trained in helping people it's my job but I also like doing it I don't mind this at all your there when I need you so I'm here when you need me ." Tk said kissing Carlos's cheek " so let me help you ." Tk said " here's you meds ." Tk said " now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go make a list or rules for when I'm gonna tonight ." Tk said " you didn't eat anything Ty.." Carlos said stopping tk " gosh you sound like Nancy ." Tk laughed grabbing a banana Carlos was kinda worried noticing how Nancy even noticed he wasn't eating the amount he needed to " I will be in the bedroom holler for me when you want to get to the couch or bed tk said kissing Carlos one last time
