Tk self sabotaged himself a lot especially after Gwynn died he went back to work. The next day when everyone knew he wasn't ready and he ended up breaking down on a call because of it

Everyone missed Owen but not like Tk Tk wasn't sure his Freud would ever resolve he almost lost his dad in several accounts but this time he got taken away from him Tk was not okay and everyone but him knew that

They were on a call father got trapped in a building collapse kid made it out " my dad - he he's in there !" The teenagers said " alright alright just calm down we're gonna get him ." Judd said
" Nancy check the kids pulse treat any wounds or bruising Tk get the Ecmo machine and the gurney " Tommy said " Tk ." Tommy called again " Tk .." Tommy said laying a hand on Tk's shoulder "yeah ?" Tk said drawing his artwork from the scene " you okay .." Tommy said " yeah sorry zoned out -" Tk said

They got the dad out on the bodyboard leaving it to medical " okay Nancy Tk gets get his abcs and start compressions ." Tommy said Tk started compressions " cap he's fading we're gonna loose him ." Nancy said as Tk did compressions " he's going into cardiac arrest clear ." Nancy said getting out the defibrillator " 3..2.1 clear ." Nancy said shocking him And that's when it went silent " Nancy pull the plug .." Tommy said " Dad!" The kid screamed as Judd and Mateo held him back
"Dad!!" The kid cried falling limp in their arms

When they got back to the station Tk went up to the bunk room he needed time to think everything was just to much at the time he sat on the edge of the bunk his leg shaking tears coming down his face the Tommy and Nancy know well enough that when they saw Tk head up to the bunk room Nancy new something was wrong " I got him cap ." Nancy said reassuring Tommy as she headed up " hey bud .. mind if I join ?" Nancy said at the doorway Tk didn't say anything he just wiped his face looking at the ground his leg still bouncing up and down rapidly

Nancy sat next to Tk rubbing his shoulder " that kid who lost there dad-" Tk stuttered "the past few days I've been trying to deal with losing my dad that I just killed someone else's ." Tk said " Tk you didn't do anything wrong you did exactly what you were supposed to it was just to late .." Nancy said

" I just miss him .." Tk said crying " I had both of them last year now there gone .." Tk said crying as Nancy brought him into a hug they sat like that for a while Nancy didn't want to let go of Tk Tk was like her brother and she knew how bad he was hurting some of the tiger team members came by the door but walked away knowing to give them Tk space

" do you want me to call Carlos to come pick you up ?" Nancy said as they came out of their hug " no- no I don't want to bother him he's probably playing with willow I don't want to take that time away from him .." Tk said

Tk walked home when he came in he saw Carlos and willow watching a movie on the couch " hey ." Tk said placing a kiss into each of there hair "Daddy!" Willow said jumping up on the couch hugging Tk " hi bug ." Tk smiled lifting her up " you and papa have fun ?" He asked " yeah we are watching zootopia !" She smiled " yeah she keeps calling me Judy hops now ." Carlos laughed " here go watch your movie I'll join in a little ." Tk said putting her down on the couch

Tk went upstairs got changed into some sweats and a Tk shirt Carlos came up and knocked on the door "hey what's up ?" Carlos said wrapping his arm around Tk's waist resting his head on Tk's shoulder placing a kiss behind his ear " nothing ." Tk said lightly " you okay ?" Carlos asked " do you mind if I skip out on zootopia tonight I just wanna lay down. .." Tk said " I can put her to bed and I can lay with you maybe make you feel better ?"Carlos said stroking Tk's hair "no you guys do your thing we can talk smother time .." Tk said

Later that night after willow went to bed Carlos joined to in bed "talk to me .." Carlos said stroking Tk's hair " I had both of them last year now there both gone .." Tk said tears coming down his face " now I don't know what to do ." Tk said " I had a breakdown at work today and Tommy told me to take time to process .." Tk said

" there always with you and I know they love you very much .." Carlos said " but I do think you need to let yourself grieve rather than dig yourself into a pit .." Carlos said "I've got time saved up I was thinking maybe going to honor your dads final wishes if you feel ready enough ..." Carlos said " I'm not letting you waste-" Tk said as Carlos cut him off "I want to help okay ." Carlos said kissing Tk's forehead " I love you ." Tk said resting his head on Carlos
