In The Shadows Of Mystacor

It was around 4 am, I heard Adora get up and walk over to a tree, I saw a figure in the distance. A shadow.
"Hey, Adora" I whisper.

The blonde flinched, not expecting me to be awake.
"Hey, Y/n" she replies.
"Did you see it too?"

I saw her face change from sad to shocked.
"Wait, you saw the shadow too?"
I nodded.

We both sat down on the tree log and started talking about how the shadows are everywhere.

*Morning*

I heard Bow and Glimmer talking, I think it was 8 or 9 am.

I was next to Adora but I was sitting. I heard Glimmer teleport and Adora gasped since she wasn't expecting someone to touch her.

"Adora are you okay?" Bow asks
"I don't know, me and Y/n both saw something"

"Like what? A bunny or maybe a butterfly?" Glimmer said mockingly while moving her hands to make the shape of a butterfly and a bunny.

"Adora, did you get any sleep last night?" the sparkly princess asks while putting her hand on the blonde's shoulder.

I was deep in my thoughts so I didn't hear what they were talking about. I kept thinking about the shadows and why they were following me.

I suddenly hear my voice being called out.

"So, what do you say, Y/n?" Glimmer asks.

"Huh, oh, sure" I say flustered cause I was just interrupted while I was deep in my thoughts.

*On the cliff*

"Why are we standing on a cliff overlooking a thousand foot drop?" I ask.

"Ready, Bow?" Glimmer asks the archer

And they jump.

"Do you think they died" I asked the blonde girl next to me.

"Probably" she replied with a giggle.

"WE'RE NOT DEAD!" we both hear Glimmer scream.

"It's almost like I can still hear her voice yelling at us.." I say dramatically.

"May those two poor souls rest in hell..." Adora adds while holding in her laugh.

"Okay, quit the act and jump!" Bow yells.

"Um, how about... No" I say looking down.

"Oh come on! It's fun!" Glimmer tries to convince me.

"You see, this is the type of person I am. You want me to fight and almost die trying to destroy an indestructible robot? No problem! But to jump off a cliff? Fuck no. That is where I draw the line" I yell back.

I keep looking into the distance til I felt a tug on my sleeve and I was falling to my death, or so I thought
I land on my feet and surprisingly I'm not next to Satan's throne.

"See? It wasn't so bad" Bow says looking at me.

"I'd rather be in a dog cage for eternity than do that again"

"Mhm, sureeee" Glimmer says, playfully nudging my side with her elbow.

"Someone hold my arm because I am this close to jumping off" I say holding up my hand and putting my thumb and index finger close together, almost touching.

"You wouldn't do that" Adora says, but immediately grabs me by my arm.

"You don't know what I'm capable of. You also don't know how tempted I am to try"
