We make to back to Brightmoon and immediately head to our rooms.

All of us are exhausted.

Even Glimmer somehow.

I think all of the teleporting around to find us tired her out a bit.

I change into my pajamas and sit on the bed just staring off into space.

Thinking about today.

The ship.

My life back then.

And life in general.

My thoughts get interrupted when I feel something in my lap.

I look down and see Adora laying there.

"You okay?" I ask.

"Yeah, it's just something happened today." the blonde answers.

"Wanna talk about it?" I offer.

"I mean, if you're willing to listen."

"Of course." I say.

"Today when me and Catra were fighting I trapped her in a cage, right?" she starts.

"Yes? What's wrong?"

"Well, when the five of us got together before Glimmer appeared I looked back and she wasn't there anymore." Adora explains.

"That's weird." I comment.

"I know, right? I mean it would've been impossible for her to get out."

"Well that's Catra alright. She can get out of anything."

"I mean, I guess you're right." Adora replies.

"We should really get some sleep. It's getting late." I yawn.

"Yeah."

She sits up and I ask,

"Why do you keep a knife under your pillow?"

"No clue." she shrugs.

I chuckle at her response.

We get into bed and fall asleep immediately.

But something wakes me up.

I look at the clock and it says "2:18am".

*Weird.* Why am I up so early?

I ignore it and try to fall back asleep.

But I can't.

I feel like I'm being watched.

I try to calm down as the blonde is sleeping peacefully next to me and I don't want her to wake up.

I try to slide out of her grip, but fail miserably.

*Did I not learn last time?* I reminded myself.

*Whatever. All I need to do is make sure nothing's in the room.*

I turn my head and see a shadow.

*WHAT THE ACTUAL- HOLY SHIT.*

*THIS IS A THING THAT I AM SEEING.*

*OKAY. CALM DOWN. IT'LL GO AWAY.*

Minutes pass and I look back to the area I saw it.

Gone.

Thank God.

I relax and take in the blonde's aroma radiating from her.

*Does she spray drugs on or something* I think.
