Princess Prom

I was walking down the hallway at around 8-9am, still had asleep, wondering why Glimmer wanted to see me so early. I suddenly get pulled into Glimmer's room.

"Woah! What was that for?!" I raise my voice.
"Sorry! But did you get the invite to the all princess Ball?" the sparkly princess curiously asks.
"Uh, yeah, what about it?"
"Well we need to figure out what we're gonna wear!"

"And remind me again. When does it start?" I ask her pinching the bridge of my nose.
"Oh, uh- It starts at.."
"Keep going.."
"It starts at 2pm?" she finished her sentence leaving my jaw hanging wide open.

"WHAT THE HELL? You made me wake up at 7 just so you could what? "get me ready"?"
"Yup! I mean look at you, you can barely even speak to "someone" without getting flustered"
"Would you quit it" I squint my eyes at her.

*Few minutes later*

We hear a knock at Glimmer's door
"Uh, guys? I got an invite to the "All Princess Ball: Winter Wonderland" Does anyone know what this is?" the blonde asks as she reads the scroll.

"Princess prom! Princess prom! We are going to Princess prom!" the archer and the sparkly princess chant together.
"Okay, I'll- I'll just come back later, it seems like you've gone crazy except for Y/n"

"The all princess ball where the princesses of all the kingdoms get together and have a big party! There will be a bunch of things! Like dancing-" the princess was quickly cut off by Adora.
"Dancing?!" she asked as Glimmer dipped her.

"Don't worry! You have me, Y/n and Bow! Since Bow's going as my plus one!"
"Uh, actually-"
"Together we can face anything!"
"I'm going with Perfuma" Bow quickly blurts out.

"WHAT?" the princess shouts

"Hey, how about we leave these two alone for a bit?" I whisper to the blonde next to me.
"Yeah, good idea"
We stealthily run to the door and quickly sprint to our room.

*5 obstacle courses later*

I was so close to falling asleep on the soft armchair but my dozzing off was soon interrupted by someone calling out name.
"Hey, Y/n" Adora looks at me
"What is it? Need help understanding princess stuff?"
"Wha- I- No! I wanted to ask you something"
"Ask away" I sit in my chair and fix my posture.
"Would you liketogotoprincesspromwithme" the blonde quickly blurts out.
"Huh?"
"I said would you like to go to princess prom with me?" she says normally but still flustered.

"Sure, I was gonna go alone but now that you asked I guess I won't have to go alone"
"It's okay if no- Wait what"
"I said I'll go with you!" I smile.

Adora walks up to the door and opens it, I quickly see her dragging Glimmer along, I just sit there confused about how she knew it was Glimmer walking past our room.
"Okay, so I have prepared for any and all scenarios. Ask me anything!" she hands us some cards.
"Princess Frosta" Glimmer reads
"Ruler of the kingdom of Snows. It is her first time hosting a ball."
"How did you manage to do all of this?" the purple and pink haired princess asked.

"I don't know if I'm being honest, Y/n helped me"
"I'm not sure if sleeping is necessarily "helping" but if that's what floats your boat" the princess shrugged while pointing at me napping.
"Y/n. WAKE UP!" the blonde shouts.

"This is why I don't nap around you" I fall out of my chair
"Sorry, but I have to be prepared for this"
"So, what are you going to wear?" I ask.
"I was just gonna go as Shera, I mean she has better hair" the soldier replies, twisting a hair strand.
"Too bad you can't, there's a strict no weapons rule, ya know, with it being all "neutral ground" and all" I explain while pulling out a little note from the scroll.

"Ugh, how are there more parts to this invite?" the blondie shouts.
"I promise, it's going to be okay!" Glimmer reassured her.
"Now lets get you ready!" she continued.

If I'm being honest I think I would've just stayed in Brightmoon if Adora didn't ask me to go with her.

Glimmer threw me in the closet and just told me to get changed, I found a really pretty dress, it's (F/c), not too long, looks good with the heels I'll wear and just in general looks perfect.

I get dressed, fix my hair and I see Angella outside the door
“Oh! Your Majesty, is something wrong?”
“No, of course not, Dear! I just wanted to tell you that they're waiting for you outside”
“Thanks for telling me! I'll be going now, bye” I waved at the Queen.

“Hey, guys” I walk to the carriage
“Hey, Y/n! Oh, wow, you look beautiful” the blonde compliments.
“Thank you! You look good too” I sit down.

*At The Kingdom Of Snows*

“Oh wow, this kingdom is huge” I say looking around.
“Which is exactly why we need Frosta! Her kingdom is really big so it'd be amazing if she agreed to join us”

We both walk up to Frosta and bow, I hear her whisper the numbers one, two and three.
As we got up
“Wait, that's Frosta? But she's like ten» Adora didn't whisper the last part well enough.
“I am 11 and three quarters.” the snow princess claps back.

I take over.
“Revered hostess, we are honored to be here. We bring greetings from Brightmoon and She-Ra” I say. gesturing my hands at the blonde next to me.
“You are welcome under the ancient rules of hospitality. Please, enjoy the ball and leave conflict at the door.”

We get thrown down the stairs, as we get up Adora spots Entrapta.
“Oh, there's Entrapta!” she grabs me by my arm and drags me with her
“Hey, Adora, Y/n! Are you here to watch the social experiment too? Groups are thrown together and forced to mingle” the princess slides down the big ice pole.

“Hey, I'm here. Don't make a big thing out of it” Mermista says behind us as we turn around.
“Oh, hey, Mermista” I wave at her.

We notice Glimmer walking up to us, she suddenly stops and almost makes Adora fall over by throwing her arm around Adora's shoulders.
“Hahaha! What a funny inside joke the two os us just came up with!” she fake laughs.
