Sunshine (Adora X Reader X Catra)

The Sea Gate

We're all sitting in the war room and I hear my name being called out
“You should send me, Adora, Bow and Y/n to recruit princess Mermista to the alliance”

“I don't know, Glimmer. That journey is treacherous.” Angella says
“We'll be fine! With She-Ra we can concur anything”

“And, um, we're also gonna need a boat” Adora speaks up
“With She-Ra and a boat, we can concur anything”

“And an experienced sea captain” Bow adds excitedly
“Ugh, with She-Ra, a boat and an experienced sea captain we can concur anything” Glimmer finishes glancing at me to see if I have anything to say, but I just shrug my shoulders

*Sea Worthy*

I feel like I'm being watched again so I stay close to Adora, she notices how I'm alert and asks me
“Hey, are you okay?”
“I don't know, I keep getting this weird feeling. I feel like we're being watched, but when I look around nobody even glances at us”
“We'll be fine and if anything happens we have She-Ra”
“I hope you're right”

We walk in and there's a hooded figure standing there and I just look at it freaked out a bit.
We walk over to the bar and I ask
“Hello, me and my friends are looking for a sea captain that can take us to Salineas. Do you know where we can find one?”
The woman points to 2 guys arm wrestling and one of them we can't see.
I thank the woman and we walk over

*On the boat*

We get on the boat and as we start sailing I just sit down immediately cause I forgot I get seasick, not alot though, I just get a slight stomachache, but other than that I'm perfectly fine
Bow asks
“Y/N, are you good?”
I nod in response because I want to collect myself

I make a tennis ball with my powers and I throw it at Adora, she turns around and throws it at me, but I dodge and it lands in the water
I made a another one but this time I throw it at Sea Hawk.
We yelps like a little girl and I start laughing, he starts chasing me and I outrun him because he's an old man.

“Hey, old man, are the back problems starting to catch up?” I ask him while laughing

*Few minutes later*

Glimmer teleports beside me and shows me that we're off course

“No more arm wrestling!” Glimmer shouts
“We just looked at the map and it shows that we are WAY off course. Is anyone else worried about this?” I ask

The ship suddenly jolted and we all fell down I was about to get up but it jolted again
This time Adora helped me get up and suddenly some sea creature flew out of the water

“I knew he'd be lurking in these waters..” Sea Hawk says dramatically

“I'M ON IT!!” Adora shouts while transforming into She-Ra and jumping in the water

“Is that a normal thing she does?” the captain asks
“Yeah, it takes some getting used to” Bow explains

“So let me get this straight. This was part of your plan? You steered us off so you could what? Show off?” Glimmer yells
“Yes that was the plan before your tall friend there stole my THUNDER”

“I GOT IT- WAIT NEVERMIND” She-Ra yells but goes back under the water
“Okay, I got it!” she yells showing us a thumbs up
“ADORA. GET IN THE BOAT!” Glimmer shouts

I made a ladder with my powers and Adora climbs up and sits down

We arrive in Salineas

I stay on the boat to take a nap, I was inside so I didn't hear anything but I had a nightmare

*Nightmare*

I'm running, hiding using my powers but nothing gets rid of them.

They keep finding me

How?

I try to shout for help but nothing comes out

They manage to capture me

What do I do?

“Now you shall answer our questions or suffer the consequences” an old voice says

“Disappointing. I can't believe I was wiling to make you force captain”

Force captain?

Wait

I recognize those voices..

Hordak?

SHADOW WEAVER?

*Nightmare ends*

I wake up in cold sweat, I walk out of the room and see the sea gate fixed
It was beautiful
But once they got back I saw Adora scratched up
The first thing that came to mind was Catra
She always did this.

Adora detransformed, I got a cotton pad and I poured some alcohol on it, I tried convincing Adora to let me do it but she kept saying no.

I even chased her around the ship I was about to give up til I finally pinned her down, I took the advantage and swiped the alcohol pad on her cheek.

“You know that burns right?” she asked
“Duh, if you don't want it to get infected should've let me do it ages ago”.

When we finally got back to Brightmoon we all got dressed and fell asleep immediately, well all of us except for me.

I kept think about the nightmare, I couldn't sleep.

Out of the corner of my eye I could've sworn I saw a shadow shaped like Shadow Weaver.

I got out the the bed carefully and made my way towards the small garden I had in my room, I sat down on the sofa in the garden.

I wish I could say I was looking at stars, but it was an empty sky.
I started making random things with my powers.

Around 10 minutes later I'm looking off in the distance and I feel the sofa sink in next to me and then I feel someone lean their head on my shoulder.
I look to my side and I see Adora sitting there.

“Why are you awake? Was it another nightmare?” she asked in a sleepy voice.
“No, I had a nightmare on the ship and I- I can't stop thinking about it”
“What was it about?”
“I was running from something, but then a voice echoed, then another one and they sounded like Hordak and Shadow Weaver and then I woke up”
“What were they saying?”

“They didn't say much but they said it was my fault, hordak said he was disappointed and then I heard Catra laugh”
“What do you mean 'your fault'?”
“That's the one thing I can't figure out”
“Oh, Y/n, have you noticed that you glow when I transform?”
“Wait, I do?”
“Yeah, I don't know why though.”
“Let's not worry about it now, how about we get some sleep first and then we figure it out because I am exhausted.”
“Aren't you the one who slept on the boat the whole time?”

We both laughed and looked in the distance til we both fell asleep.
