Reunion

"Adora, Y/n, get up." Glimmer teleported to our room.
Frightened, the blonde girl pulls out a knife from under the pillow.
"Adora, we've talked about the knife thing." I scold.

"What's going on? What is it?" she completely ignores me.
"It's Bow. He's in trouble." Glimmer says panicking.

We make it to the woods and Glimmer starts talking again,
"Bow's tracker pad and arrows are gone. He must have left after he shot
that note through my window."

"The note that says, "I'm fine. Don't follow me"?" Adora read the note out loud.

"He's not fine! We have to follow him!"
"If he was, he would've told us he was leaving. After finding out the signal After finding out the signal
is about Mara..."

"Okay, okay, Glimmer, just calm down. I agree, okay?" Adora calms her down.
"So, where does Bow go when he's not at Bright Moon?" I ask.
No reply.

"Seriously? How long have you been friends again?" Adora raised a brow.

"Look, Bow really values his privacy. He's never talked about his past or where he came from. Never. And you know how talkative and open usually Bow is! Something's wrong. What if he's in trouble?" Glimmer starts to panic.

We make it farther in the woods.

"Bow definitely came this way,
judging from the broken twigs, the sap and his incredibly distinct footprints." Adora comments.

"There's no way Bow would ever leave his trick arrows behind." Glimmer gasps.

"I told you, he's in trouble."

"What is that place?" I ask.

"We have to find Bow, and get him out of this, uh... library?" Glimmer says confused.

"Have you ever heard of a library
in the Whispering Woods?" Adora asks.

Bow opens the door and sighs.

"Bow, I'm so glad we found you!" Glimmer says excitedly.
"We're here to break you out, or fight your kidnappers. We're not sure what we're... Uh..." Adora stops herself.

"What have they done to you?" Glimmer gasps even louder this time.

"Drama queen..." I whisper to the blonde.
"Oh, totally." Adora nods.

"We got your arrows. Who are we fighting?" she asks.
"No one. You shouldn't be here. You need to leave now, before-"

"Who's there? Who are these people?" a man asks.

"Play along." the archer whispers. "This is Adora, Y/n and Glimmer, my friends from the academy. Adora, Y/n, Glimmer, meet my dads..." Bow looks down embarrassed.

"Adora, Y/n, Glimmer!"
"Oh, we're so happy to finally meet
Bow's school friends." George says.

"You want anything, you just tell me, and I'll get it. Snacks? I'll get you snacks." Lance runs off to get us snacks.

"Yes, so energetic. Heh." George chuckles.

"You girls must love attending the Academy of Historic Enterprises with Bow."

"Yes. Absolutely."

"Yup. Wouldn't change a thing. At the academy, that we all go to." Adora puts in an accent.

"Bow actually talked me into going. Without him I probably wouldn't have went there." I try to make small talk.

"Bow talked you into going? That's wonderful!"

"Oh, I bet you're here to see
our collection of First Ones artifacts!" Lance excitedly says.

"We got some new pottery shards. I... Oh, what was I doing?"
