Roll With It

We're sitting around a table with a map of the territory, trying to come up with a plan how to retake the fortress.

"Ooh. Okay." I hum.
"We need to reclaim the Horde-occupied fortress for the Rebellion." Adora tells us.
"How are we gonna do this?" Bow asks.

"I'll teleport ahead to scout a path." Glimmer suggests.

"I'll quietly shoot the turrets with my trick arrows." Bow confidently says.

"And I'll be up where the turrets can't see me so I can disable them." I say.

"You'll have the advantage
in a sneak attack. Go!" the blonde informs us.

After alot of "super secret mission" stuff Bow gets hit with a laser and falls to his death.

"He's dead." I say as I'm trying not to burst out laughing.

"Oh, what? Tiny Bow, you will be avenged!"

"Bow, stop being dramatic." I tell him.

"That clearly isn't gonna work. Let's try this again." Adora tries to come up with a different plan.

"I shouldn't be dead. That turret came out of nowhere."

"That's because you failed to make a successful observation check." Glimmer smirks at him.

"If we're gonna retake the pass, we have to be prepared for anything." the blonde says.

"The pass is the only way in or out of this region. The Horde seized it while we were defending Bright Moon. So it's crucial we get it back." she continued.

"Why does that mean I have to die? And after I made these for you!" Bow starts whining.

"Look. Our plans always fall apart. Always!" Adora angrily yells.

"She does have a point, most of our plans just fall apart before they even start, it'd be impressive if we came up with an actually decent plan for once." I state.

"We've gotten good at improvising, though." Glimmer comments.

"If we're gonna pull this off, we need a plan that won't fall apart, that takes into account everything the Horde could throw at us, including surprise attacks." Adora starts thinking.

"But you're breaking Tiny Bow's heart. I mean, look at his face."

"He's smiling." Me and Glimmer say in unison.

"Through his pain, Glimmer. Through his pain." the three of us just give him this look.

"Guys, this pass is important. The Horde won't give it up without a fight. It's obviously gonna be guarded by their very best and brightest." Adora informs them.

After many, MANY failed attempts at making a plan Adora suggests a different technique.

"Clearly that plan won't work. So maybe if we try sneaking past the turrets from a different side..."

"You're going about this wrong. We're not going to win by sneaking. We gotta take the action to them! Just let Glimmer handle this." says while taking the map out of Adora's hands.
Me and Adora both share a look that say "What is she doing."

"Using my awesome powers of teleportation, I take out their first line of defense. Then I teleport onto the wall and take out a line of soldiers
with one critical strike! I backflip, front flip, backflip into a teleport, poof! Then I take out a Super Bot,
and it explodes! Yeah, and I'm past the wall! I'm unstoppable! I'm-" she gets cut off by Bow.

"You ran out of teleports, like, 12 teleports ago."

"Then I land on you!"
"Tiny Bow! No!"

"Glimmer, we need to come up
with a plan based on reality." Adora scolds her.
