The day I have been waiting has finally come. Yes its our wedding day today. I have never been this happy. I have Mika. We have our baby. And today, we well be tied by blessings from up above.
Its just a month preparation but everything was working perfectly fine. From the entourage to the place where we will exchange our vow and to the wedding reception. Even the honeymoon, though mejo nauna yun. hehehe.
I was standing inside the church. Looking around. Everyone that's important to us was there. Our families and friends. We just wabted a simple wedding. But the looks of it doesnt look so simple at all.
Colorful flowers were everywhere. Combination of tulips and big roses. The church was all white. But everyone inside wore black except me. Yes, black. Mika decided the motif. She wanted a wedding like this wherein it would just ne the groom and bride who's wearing white. And the girls were wearing elegant head dresses just like what we see in royal weddings.
I was patiently waiting for my bride. Sana naman sumipot yun. Hay. Kakakaba din pala talaga. like what i always see in the movies na parang hindi mapakali ang groom. Ganun din ako.
Our wedding was scheduled 5pm. Its almost 4:57 but still no signs of the wedding car that would bring Mika here. Halos sumabog na ako sa kaba. "Manong, kalma. Nanjan na siya.", I sighed. I looked at Thirdy who was smiling wildly. He's our best man and Ara was our bride's maid.
The witnesses stood up when the piano started playing the traditional wedding march song. Mika was a fun of classic so we decided to use the classic march song. And i bet, that music was sooooo romantic.
Inayos ni Thirdy ang bow tie ko. "Goodluvk,Manong."
Unang pumasok ang nga grooms men. they were Miko, Kuya Perry, Paul, Thomas, Julian, Clint, and Fonzo. Sumunod ang bride's maids. Mikole, Dani, Cienne, Kim, Mela, Carol and Ara.
Nung pumasok ang ring bearers, lalo akong kinabahan. Kahit ang cute nina Andrew (Cienne and Fonzo's son) and Zander (Des' and Clint's). Parang di kayang ipacify ng dalawang bubwit na ito ang kaba ko.
When Rafaela (Carol and Sargent's daughter), Antonia (Ate cha and hubby's), Zarina (Des and Clint's twin), lalabas na talaga yung puso ko. Because I knew na after ng flower girls, bride na ang next.
Parang nagslow motion ang lahat ng makita ko si Mika in her white and minimal black gown. She looked like a queen. My queen. Maliit palang ang tyan niya kaya fitted gown pa din ang suot niya. She looked so gorgeous with her empire cut gown. She was walking with her parents.
I cant help but cry. Its sinking in na in less than an our, she'll be an official Ravena. Officially mine. In everybody's eyes. In civil's eyes. In God's eyes.
I can see her wiping her own tears while walking in the aisle full of flowers from the flower girls. Kahit nakatakip ng belo ang mukha niya, kitang kita ko pa rin yung ngiti niya. I wonder what she was thinking. But it seemes like her thoughts were good, nakangiti kase siya.
I cant wait to exchange I dos with her. To promise in front of the officiating minister, our families and friends and God, that Id give up everything just to be with this moment.
How can I ask for more if I already have enough? I mean, I already have too much. A lovely wife to be, a wonderful life, and our baby. I cant thank God enough.
Hindi ko napansin na malapit na siy sa akin. Thirdy poked me and I came to realization na kailangan ko na siyang kunin sa kamay ng parents niya. Na magiging akin na siya.
I shooked hands with Tito Manolo anf I kissed tita Bhaby on the cheeks who was also crying.
"Take good care of my princess, Kief."
"I will, Tito. She's now my queen. Thank you, Tito."
I held her hands and we walked together til infront of the minister.
He was preaching on how our relationship as husband and wife will be successful, he said it should God the center of our relationship. I was patiently waiting til the exchanging of vows.
"I have never been happy my entire life, til you came, Tay. I always prayed to Him to give me a good person to be with for a lifetime. I didnt know na ganun ako kalakas sa Kanya, not until He gave you to me. I asked for good but He gave me the best. I am happy and excited to spend my life with you and our family." Mika was crying, and so am I.
I looked at our witnesses. They were wiping there tears as well. Especially our parents. Our friends. Especially the bullies.
"I asked for you, and He gave you to me. We met once more in a very unexpected time, at the very unexpected place." my tears were uncontrolable. I cant help but to cry. "We started in the wrong foor but whi cares? We still end up with each other at bibilhan kita ng sobranh tibay na helmet para incase na mauntog ka hindi pa rin magbabago ang isip mo at ako pa rin ang piliin mo.", verybody laughed at my humor.
"As what I promised to your father, Nay. I will take care of you. Ill make you queen. This may sound so cliche, but I would really do those. I am willing to give my life up for you. You and baby are the best part of me, as what I always tell you. Hindi sapat ang pasasalamat sa Diyos for giving me the two precious gift a man like me can ever have. You dont have any idea how thankful I am na ikaw ang binigay niya sa akin. I promise to love you each and every day of our entire life. I love you."
After exchanging vows, we proceeded to wedding ring exchanging
Naiinip na ako. Gusto ko na siyang ikiss. Kahit madaming beses na kaming nagkiss, hiwever it wouldnt be the same kase it will be our first time to kiss as a married couple.
"You can now kiss your , Wife."
I hurriedly took off her belo. Haha. Excited talaga ko eh. Bakit ba?
"Nagmamadali, Kief?? May lakad??", Carol exclaimed. Everybody laughed including me and my wife. Loko talaga si Carol.
"Bilisan niyo na yan, nagugutom na ko.", Kimmy said. Hahaha. Bwisittalaga tong mga to.
I kissed my wife. Looooong kiss.
"Tapusin niyo na yan, nang makakain na.!",twas Mela. Nahawa na din sa pagkabully. Pati kasal ko di pinatawad. Hahahaha.
"Okay, pictorials na.", cienney. May Kasamang palakpak pa yun.
"Nang makakain na. Hanep. Kaing kain na ako ng letson eh.", ahahahaha. Pati si Ara mukhang pagkain. Pag-uuntugin ko tong mga to eh.
