(Hello readers! It's freezing where I am and this mask is hurting my ears. So, I wanted to set up a discord server where we could talk because it's hard for me to keep up with all the notifications and the emails from Wattpad. So, if you need to ask me anything, have any suggestions, things you want to see, friend me (GoldieLocks#2860) and then I'll invite you to the server and you can text me! You don't have to, just if you want, I'll still try my best to get to as many comments and all the emails addressed to me! Thank you so much for reading, if you're reading this now, wow, so many have quit around the 17th chapter and so thank you for being here as well! Each one of you means a lot to me, Love you! <3 Now let's get to the story!)

Y/N'S PERSPECTIVE:

"Pleeeease Y/n, give me second chance!" Dean begged from outside my bedroom door. Was there any privacy around here? Bob wouldn't leave my side unless I was in the washroom which had no windows and Dean would whine and ask for forgiveness through the door and he hung all over me when I left my room. So annoying.

"Get your stinky breath out of this house!" I called back, taking the pillow beside me and throwing it at the door. He was quiet and I heard him testing his breath.

"It doesn't stink, it smells like mint! Liar! Common, let me in my love!" Dean whined.

"I bet you called the last girl that too," I said for Bob's benefit. I learned fast that Mr. Baldy over here was scared out of his pants whenever in the presence of my father and that he really wasn't all that bad. He just silently stood there. Watching me like a creep.

"Y/nnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, you're so mean, let me in!"

"Not by the hairs on my chinny chin chin!" I recited from the Three Little Pigs. Camilo would have laughed.

"Your dads kicking me out, but don't be sad, I'll be back tomorrow!"

"I hope you get lost and never return," I scoffed.

"I see you're playing hard to get, but I play hard to win, and I won't let you put me down, just you see!" He said. I laughed at the idiocy of this guy.

"Hello sweetheart, how has your day been?" My dad asked through the door.

"Fine," I answered.

"Could I come in?"

"It's your house," I said. Bob went to unlock the door and my dad stepped in.

"Your dragon is being made from a previous experiment that we were working on before and I also gave some of my DNA so that hopefully it'll see us as family. The egg is almost done, it's amazing what can be accomplished under the heat of a drawn gun," He laughed and I scowled. This wasn't right, I should have just asked for a kitten, puppy, or something like that. It was probably going to be a failed experiment and I'd hate to think about what that meant for the scientist.

"I was wondering if you'd like to go shopping? With me?" I didn't have much of a choice, he'd just get mad if I said no.

"I'd love to daddy dearest, shall we also have tea?" I said sarcastically.

"Wonderful idea, I'll set up reservations while you get ready!" He said, taking my fake enthusiasm seriously. Great, more people I caused to have a bad day. I sighed, grabbing my shoes and putting them on. I quickly did up my hair, no need to look like a complete mess. I slowly made my way to the front door with Bob, who was silent as always. I walked outside to the white limo that was waiting for us. The driver had a towel and was cleaning a speck of dust off the hood of the limo like it made all the difference. Bob got the door for me and I ducked in, moving the farthest seat from where I entered. Bob waited until my father came in until he closed the door again and went to the passenger's side. I looked out the window, watching my surroundings slowly start to move. We drove into a busy-looking city with lots of other people roaming the sidewalks. I was overwhelmed since when had the city and people changed so much?

"What kind of tea do you prefer?" My father asked.

"Um, whatever, it doesn't matter to me," I said, looking back out the window to take in all the new fashion and building designs.

"If you see a shop you'd like to go to, let me know, we can go anywhere you'd like," I gasped when I saw a book store, and a lot of the books were expensive, weren't they? There was the perfect place to get what would get my mind off things and empty out my father's pockets.

"Stop the limo," My dad said, grinning. I faked a smile and we got out and went up to the book store with Bob trailing behind. I looked hesitantly around myself.

"Go ahead, get anything you want, Bob will help carry everything," I started down the romance aisle, grabbing any books that looked interesting or had a cool title and quickly skimmed through the summary before piling it up in Bob's arms. I had about ten books already, three of them were a part of a series. I moved over to the adventure aisle and went through the same process. Soon I had about twenty-five books piled up in Bob's arms. That was a good amount. We walked up to the cashier where my dad was waiting. I hoped he would tell me to put some back because it really was a lot. When the cashier finished scanning everything she read the total.

"That will come to three-hundred and seventy-eight dollars and ninety-nine cents," He didn't even flinch. He just put a metal card up to the scanner and put in his bank number. The lady put it in bags and handed it to Bob with a smile on her face.

"Thank you for your purchase, come again!" I waved and caught up with my dad who was already leaving.

"We are going to have to postpone the tea and the rest of the shopping, the dragon egg is hatching, the growing serum is working a little too well," He said.

"Wait, for real?! You got me a real-life dragon?!" I asked skeptically, this had to be a joke, right? This wasn't possible!

"You asked for a dragon, I got a dragon, now we need to go pick it up," He said, smiling a little at my surprised expression.

"Drive us to the lab," Bob told the driver in a gruff voice who quickly started the limo and got driving.

"You have got to be kidding me," I said, shocked.

"You'll see it for yourself in just a couple of minutes," My father said, amused.

(Ok, hear me out, I'm a lazy potato, and I mentally cannot do anything that involves effort right now, today was really draining, I'm so sorry my dear readers, but today it's a very short chapter coming at a 1246 word count :( SO sorry, really, I am. Please don't hate me... I need to go now, so until tomorrow when I make up for my lack of story today.)
