January 8th, Time is 5:30 am, Azur lane Base

...

Commander Guardian now woken up from his sleep prepares for an early morning jog around the base. Knowing he couldn't sleep any more, a jog would be a refreshing start towards his day though it seems that he wasn't the only one awake.

Guardian: (Tempest, are you up? We need to go for a little exercise.)

Tempest: (I'm already up and running, Guardian. Question is, are you ready?)

Guardian: (Always. We go out for half an hour and meet back at the docks at 6:00 am, alright?)

Tempest: (Roger that. Then, off I go)

While Guardian runs around the base, Tempest patrols the outside perimeter. Meanwhile, a certain ship girl was also preparing for her morning exercises and the two happen to meet a few minutes later.

Guardian: Oh? Is that...Enterprise? Hey, Enterprise. (waves at her)

Guardian sees Enterprise from a distance and waves at her. Enterprise from her side was coming out of her dorm when she turned and saw the commander running towards her while waving.

Enterprise: (Ah, its the commander. What is he doing at this time?)

...

Guardian: Hey there, you're an early bird.

Enterprise: I can say the same to you. What are you doing so early?

Guardian: Having a jog, it is what I do every morning at my old headquarters and on my ship. Care to join?

Enterprise: Glad you offered. I was just about to start jogging as well.

Guardian: I see. Well, let's go. (starts jogging)

Enterprise: Right behind you, commander.

Guardian and Enterprise start jogging around the base while making stops at certain check points or places for a minute of rest before continuing again. Enterprise was very surprised at the commander who was able to keep up with her despite the clear differences as he is human and she is a literal ship girl so physical capabilities wise, she had the advantage but despite that, the commander remained at her level regardless. After reaching the second least check point, they stopped for a few minutes and to talk as well.

Enterprise: *Pant* Commander?

Guardian: *Pant* Yeah?

Enterprise: I'm really surprised.

Guardian: How so?

Enterprise: You were able to keep up with me.

Guardian: Really? That's good then.

Enterprise: Don't you feel tired?

Guardian: A little bit but this is nothing compared to the amount of work I did back there.

Enterprise: The headquarters?

Guardian: Exactly. I had to run errands and go on missions so everything is up to date plus I barely had any rest since I was doing those things.

Enterprise: I see.

Guardian: Care to join for breakfast with me after this?

Enterprise: I am alright. Ration bars are all I need.

Guardian: No. You need a good meal. That's why I even set up the new canteen so everyone can enjoy good and delicious food.

Enterprise: I'm really fine with just my stuff. You can go ahead, commander.
