Narrator: From here, all ship girl pasts, battles, recorded history and Azur lane plot are respectively their own for these are not mine. I will be introducing each or many of the ship girls past and the plot as half a chapter to keep in line with this writing. If I get anything wrong, please point it out for me. I apologize in advance, thank you and hope you enjoy. :)
Guardian: Come on, tell me your story.
Enterprise: I am a Yorktown-class carrier, built during the 1930s alongside my two other sisters Yorktown and Hornet. I participated in many battles of the war against the Sakura Empire including Pearl Harbor, battle of Midway, Eastern Solomon's and many more of course.
Guardian: Tough life you had.
Enterprise: I sure did but I guess it was my duty to keep fighting in the war until peace. I was to be honest the best out there.
Guardian: 20 battle stars.
Enterprise: Correct. But I wasn't always on the winning side, having losses as well even getting 'sunk' on three occasions.
Guardian: But you survived and earned your moniker "Grey Ghost".
Enterprise: Yes, the nickname given to me by the Sakura Empire. Not the biggest fan of it but it is what it is.
Guardian: Afterwards?
Enterprise: ...
Guardian: Enterprise?
Enterprise: S-Sorry, w-where was I?
Guardian: Grey Ghost part.
Enterprise: R-right. I was one of the few survivors alongside Saratoga and Ranger, but my sister...didn't make it. (starts to tear up)
Guardian: Enterprise...
Enterprise: If only, I could have saved them. I-I failed them. *sniff*
Enterprise's tears dripped down her cheeks as she thinks about her sisters' fates. Curling up her fists and pressing on her chest while hanging her head low away from the commander's view but Guardian still notices it and grabs his handkerchief to wipe her face of tears.
Guardian: We all lost people in our lives, whether it is family, friends, relatives or people we've only met a couple of times. Even if we want to change our past, the better solution is to move forward and do something so it never happens again. You have your sisters right now so cherish them while you can.
Enterprise: I understand, commander. Thank you for saying that.
Guardian: Now, let's talk about the more important bit.
Enterprise: More important than this?
Guardian: About you, yes.
Enterprise: Sure, commander.
Guardian: Before I came to Azur Lane, I've heard of some rumors about you.
Enterprise: Rumors?
Guardian: A lot of people back at headquarters told me this that they felt uncomfortable being around you. They think you are always giving off a menacing aura.
Enterprise: They really said that about me?
Guardian: However, I don't think this is the case. From my point of view, you just look like a normal girl except maybe one thing.
Enterprise: Please do tell, commander.
Guardian: You're an introvert, aren't you?
Enterprise: Huh?
