Chapter 17 - Rescue Mission (ROON) Part 1

Guardian: Roon? Like THE Roon?

(GA) Martha Harris: Yes, THE Roon. She got ambushed by a large fleet of Sirens and is in desperate need of help. I want you and your ship girl to rescue her. Do be careful though, she is one of the worst yanderes.

Guardian: I will take great care in this so don't worry. Plus, I have laid a trap for the Sirens so when they get caught, I can question them.

(GA) Martha Harris: Whatever your plan is...I hope it works.

Guardian: You can trust me. Alright, I'll contact you after the mission.

(GA) Martha Harris: Good luck. (Hangs up)

Enterprise: Hey, Commander. (returns from walking)

Guardian: That was fast. What did you do?

Enterprise: Surveying our perimeter. No sign of activity yet. Are you sure that they will come?

Guardian: Yes though there is at least 10% chance that they won't take the bait.

Enterprise: So what do we do?

Guardian: Well, we can...stop moving.

Enterprise: Huh?

Guardian slowly approaches Enterprise while equipping his gloves leaving Enterprise totally confused. So she asked.

Enterprise: Errrr...what are you doing?

Guardian: Don't move a muscle...for your own safety.

Enterprise: Seriously what is going on- *Gasp*

Enterprise without a word and in shock while a hint of fear and shivers down her spine notices a scorpion on her right shoulder. Guardian from a slow approach, quickly grabbed the scorpion off her shoulder and crushed it in his hands while Enterprise looked on with amazement and shock.

Enterprise: C-C-COMMANDER.

Guardian: There...was getting dangerous there. Are you alright, Enterprise?

Enterprise: I should be asking you that. How did you do that? Are you hurt? Give me your hand. (reaches towards him)

Guardian: I'm fine. No need to worry.

Enterprise: Come on. (grabs his hand and takes off the glove)

Enterprise inspects his hand to see any injuries but finds nothing at all. Its as if nothing has happened.

Enterprise: I-It can't be. You're wouldn't crush a scorpion with your hands unless you have a death wish, commander. 

Guardian: (Oh shit)

Tempest: (Old habits?)

Guardian: (Yeah...)

Enterprise: Hello? Earth to Commander?

Guardian: H-Huh? Oh right. Its normal for me.

Enterprise: Crushing a scorpion with hands is not normal, Commander. Its highly dangerous and you could get seriously injured from this.

Guardian: Don't worry, I have good tolerance to pain.

Enterprise: *face palms* *Sigh*

Guardian: Anyways, I got good news and bad news. Which one do you want to hear first?

Enterprise: Good news first.

Guardian: My ship has located Siren activity 5 miles from here, a fleet of around 6 Siren ships to be exact. That means we can draw them in since its not too far and the bait which is me can work.
