Time: 7:00 am, somewhere in Los Angeles California, Navy Academy Barracks.

Guardian: Hopefully today is a good day, going to become the Azur lane navy commander, must not screw this up. I better get to the main headquarters to receive further orders.

Guardian then left his dorm and walked to his headquarters. When he arrived, his boss (Mitch) was waiting for him.

Mitch: Yo Guardian, you're early though I arrived much earlier than you so that I can give you the briefing before you head off today.

Guardian: Yes sir. I have arrived and waiting for your orders.

Guardian saluted and bowed before him as a sign of respect.

Mitch: Now first of all, congratulations on becoming the new Azur lane Commander. I knew that one day you would have the chance to lead your own navy in our fight against the Sirens.

Guardian: Thank you, sir.

Mitch: Do you have all the necessary equipment and gear when you arrived there? What about extra uniform and shoes? Stationery items? and most importantly, can you swim?

Mitch while asking chuckled a bit.

Guardian rolled his eyes at the sight of his boss.

Guardian: Yes, sir. I have everything I need and yes... I can swim, SIR.

Mitch: I'm just kidding. I know you have the experience and the guts to do this, I'm just concerned for when you get there.

Guardian: Its just like any other task, build relationships and lead the navy to victory.

Mitch: I know but considering the situation in Azur lane, it will not be so easy since previous Azur lane commanders unlike us were very disrespectful, more arrogant than skilled and because of them, Azur lane had started to fall apart. The money the headquarters sent to make sure the port is up and running had been used like flowing water and not to mention the greedy and sick-minded ones. I feel pity for the ship girls who live there.

Guardian: I agree sir. These type of behaviors and attitudes are not acceptable to the public eye and to us commanders. Good thing that they were removed from their positions after being assigned and yes, I feel pity towards the ship girls. When I arrive there, I will make sure no ship girl ever feel threatened or afraid and will do my best for Azur lane.

Mitch impressed by the determination of Guardian.

Mitch: I know you will but remember, the Sirens are our main goal and is to defeat them at will and for that, building relationships with the ship girls is important so that the navy is united and strong.

Guardian: Yes, sir. You can count on me.

Guardian then started to leave the headquarters for the docks when Mitch tapped him on the shoulder and said,

Mitch: Be careful and Good luck. I will see you soon.

Guardian turned around, saluted at his boss and nodded.

When he got on the ship which is actually his own battleship named Tempest he sighed and said,

Guardian: Hello again, my old friend. Looks like we got work to do. Now, let's go save the ship girls.

Now, let's go save the ship girls
