Race POV

"Hey-"

"Look about last night.." she started, interrupting me. "Last night? What happened last night?" I asked, acting like I didn't know.

"Did I say last night? No-nothing happened last night" she laughed nervously.

The boys left to start selling their papes, leaving me and Y/n alone in the Lodging House.

It was an awkward silence.

Comfortable for me, but I knew she thought it was awkward.

"Look-" I started but she cut me off by kissing me.

I melted in to the kiss and deepend it.

We stayed like that for a minute, until we pulled away for air.

"Sorry- what was you gonna say?" She asked, blushing.

I didn't answer. Instead, I kissed her again.

I snaked my arms around her waist, as her arms went around my neck.

I pulled away to finally answer.

"I was gonna say; I noticed youse said youse is in love with me while we were talking last night.." I started.

"What about it?"

"I just wanted to know...ise might be in love with you too.." I told her.

"Gosh, I didn't know" she said sarcastically, playfully rolling her eyes.

We shared a laugh; as it slowly died down, I stared into her eyes.

"I know you wanna kiss me again so go ahead" she winked.

I smiled and kissed her again.

The kiss lasted a while, but was sadly interrupted by Mush coming into the room.

We pulled apart and stared at Mush, who had gone wide-eyed.

"I ain't gonna say nothin" he said and backed out of the room.

"You guys look good though" he said, peeking back into the room for a second.

I laughed as he left and looked back down at Y/n.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked, cautiously. "Only if youse'll treat me betta then Spot did" she said.

"Deal" I kissed her.
