"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?! What the hell - put that back! NO!" I never thought I'd be doing this ever in my life.
I lunged forward and tackled Ash to the ground to prevent him from packing his underwear. I had come back from the mess with food that I had as a gift of gratitude to Ash but I walked in on him packing his things and panicked.
Am I that bad of a roommate?
Maybe that stench of my vomit was bad he had to get away?
"G-Gou!"
My head snapped up to face him. This was a familiar scene though Ash's face was not as red as I recall.
"I'm sorry!" I blurted.
"Pardon?"
"You -" I scrambled off of him and reached for the snacks I had bought. "Here!" I said, shoving the bag into his arms. I looked at his baffled face and bowed.
"I'm sorry for that night!" I exclaimed sincerely.
"That...night?"
Of course he isn't going to mention it, he's too considerate sometimes! I have to specify what I'm talking about.
"The night I got drunk. Gary told me I vomited all over the floor and you had to clean it up." I said and looked up at him to meet his shocked face. "I'm sorry for that and also thank you for taking care of me! So please don't go!" I pleaded. "I'll do anything to repay you!"
Ash stared at me without any words spoken. He opened his mouth but closed it, he looked like a fish. "Gou..." He finally said. "I'm not going anywhere."
"Really?!"
"I mean, I am."
"What."
"Wait, no..." Ash face palmed and chuckled into his hand. He stared at me with soft eyes. "I'm still your roommate. Right now I'm just going on a trip with Kukui and Gary to meet some sponsors." He explained, crouching to my level.
"Wha- oh... okay... So, am I forgiven?" I asked.
Ash laughed softly and pat my head. "Sure, though I don't know what for?" He questioned, hooking the bag of snacks with his finger and looking inside.
"For making you clean my vomit."
"Is that what Gary really told you?"
"Did he lie to me? If so I want my snacks back!"
"No! What he said was half of the truth!" Ash back away with the snacks. "Wait." Ash's eyes widened when he realised what he said.
I stared at him intensely. "So... the other half is the reason why you've been acting weird?"
"Acting? Weird? Me?! Since when?" Ash laughed nervously and scurried to his feet to finish his packing.
"You... tell me!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
"No!"
"Ash."
"Trust me Gou, I'm sparing your feelings here!"
"Sparing feelings my ass! I won't rest easy if you keep acting weird let alone tell me since I know there's more to the story than me vomiting!" I exclaimed in frustration and slammed Ash's suitcase shut, staring at him with a serious face. "Ash...tell me." I demanded softly.
It couldn't get any worse.
Ash averted his gaze to the floor. "You... said you were into men...then kissed me." He muttered.
