Chapter 13: Don't Leave Me

[Siwon POV]

2 months had passed and still I don’t know how I could mend scars on Mitzi’s heart. But above everything else, there is only one thing that I’m praying right now, and that is for her to wake up. She’s been in coma for months and the doctors seemed not to find the reason why she hasn't waking up yet. All her vital signs are now normal, but she is just lying there in the hospital, having that peaceful face yet she looking so lifeless. We also resumed to the preparations for the album and after series of meetings in persuading it to let us finish the preparations here in Korea, in the end, the company just give in and in no time, we are able to meet the deadline for the launch of the album. Even though I've been busy in the preparations and other schedules, I never missed to drop by everyday at the hospital to visit her. The other members even tried to persuade me to stop it since for them; I was even looked more exhausted. But for me, it was all worth it, even though I pity her seeing like that, she is the only one who completes my day. I also reconciled with Henry, it wasn't easy at first since he was really mad at me of what happened to Mitzi, but with a peaceful talk, we were able to contemplate on each other’s feelings. After all, he is one of my brothers that I really cared about.

Despite the busy schedules that I had, I make sure to fix my personal problems also. So today, I went to Kona beans to meet someone that could be the solution to my problem. As I entered the cafe, I immediately saw that person who is actually seating on the area near the windows.

“Sorry if I came late, the traffic got me this time.” I said as I sat infront of her.

“It’s okay Siwon-ssi, I just came here also, so basically, I didn't waited that long.” She smilingly said.

We ordered our coffee and after it was served in our table, she initiated the talk.

“We’re on the final stage now.” she said.

“Yeah, I’m sorry if I had to drag you to this” I said.

“It’s okay, it wasn't my choice either, so I think, it’s better off this way.” She said as she pulled out an envelope from her bag and she handed it to me.

I opened the envelope and I was surprised to what I saw.

“is this real?” I curiously asked.

She nodded as she said, “I also didn't expect that it came on right timing.”

I closed the envelope as I stood up. “Let’s go, we need to tell this to my parents”

She nodded as we went out of the cafe and into my car and drove off to our destination. Right now, I was very certain that my problem will now end. Atleast that’s what I believe right now.

After I cleared my mind, I started to planned out on how I could get out of the engagement. I talked to my fiancee, and beg her to cancel the engagement. I was surprised to know that she also doesn't want this engagement and she loved the guy she is right now. We planned everything. From getting the huge investors so that our parents won’t need to collaborate anymore, up to talking to her parents about everything. I was really thankful that her parents understand our side, atleast and they agreed to cancel the engagement. Since we didn't want to shock my parents with this, we think of the final stage of the plan. Since I was busy, I feel guilty on helping her out on thinking of the proper way until she called me up and showed me what’s inside the envelope.
