Chapter 10: The Turning Point

[Henry POV]

            Since most of our members left the country, Zhoumi, Mitzi and I are the ones left in the dorms. Being the youngest in the whole group it means I had no other choice but to follow whatever instructions that they had for me. It was a good thing also that the company gave me a few months of rest since the promotion from my latest album has ended and Zhoumi hyung is preparing right now for his new album.

            Today, after going to grocery shopping with Mitzi, we decided to just go back to the dorms since it started raining already. As we arrived, we noticed that there are shoes that are unfamiliar to us, I wonder if Zhoumi hyung got home early, or maybe some of them went back already? But that is impossible, since they will be staying overseas for 5 months.

We are walking slowly towards the living room, and there we saw a man sitting on the couch with two men standing behind him. By looking on his appearance, he was about 40 to 50 years of age, and wearing a black tuxedo. We approached the said visitor, as we bowed and greeted him.

“Annhyeonghaseyo! May I know who you are?” I politely asked.

“Annhyeonghaseyo! I’m sorry for intruding this place, By the way, I’m Dimitri Kang, the butler of the Choi Family.” He said as he bowed.

I offered him to sit down as Mitzi put the bags that we had in the kitchen counter and soon after sat beside me in the couch.

“So, uhm, Sir, what brings you here?” I asked.

“I will be straight forward to you and to Ms. Metherlence. Sir and Madam Choi just came back from America and they heard of the news about Sir Siwon’s plans of getting married.” He said.

Mitzi and I look at each other as Mr. Kang continued.

“With this, we would like to take Ms. Metherlence to the Mansion since Sir and Madam Choi wants to met her.”

“Ahh I see, it’s fine with me, but did Siwon hyung knew about this?” I asked.

“Actually Sir Siwon has no idea about this matter. Sir and Madam would like to keep it discreet.” He said. The way he told it to us, I felt something is wrong about the idea of Mitzi going there.

Even before I object about it, I was surprised about Mitzi as she said.

“Okay Sir, just give me a few minutes to change.” Then she stood up and went to her room.

I took my leave and followed her to room. Since I don’t want to invade her privacy, I knock first.

“Mitzi, can I come in?” I asked.

“Sure, the door is open oppa.” I heard her shouted from inside.

I slowly opened the door and there I saw her infront of her dresser wearing a blue dress with silver linings on the edge of the skirt. For a second, I was mesmerized on her beauty. Siwon hyung is really lucky to have her as his fiancee.

I sat on the edge of her bed that could be seen as I spoke up.

“Are you really sure about this? I mean really?” I asked.

“I know you’re worried about me oppa, the reality is, I was somehow nervous on going there and felt something wrong about this, but I will not know the truth if I will not go right?” she clamly said.

She had a point, we will not know the real agenda if she will not go there. After she is done fixing her hair, she stood up and walked towards the living room to meet Mr. Kang who is waiting for her.
