-Kaydan's P.O.V-

I had successfully snuck downstairs and into the living room. I grabbed a blanket from Kim's room and was plopped down on the couch in front of the TV. I began to flick through the channels to try and find something entertaining.

After three minutes I hear commotion upstairs.

Wow, that was fast.

"Why the hell are you up so early?" Christian questions approaching me.

"I couldn't sleep."

"Try harder."

"Sorry," I say as he sits beside me, "when my brothers are here I get too stressed to sleep."

He grabs one of the blanket corners out of my hand and wraps it around him so we are squished together. "Then just stop thinking about them."

I laugh before saying, "It's not that easy!"

He grabs my chin and brings my face to his, making our lips meet. I feel my head getting lighter and my chest starts to tingle. He pulls away, resting his forehead on mine, and asks, "What are you thinking about now?"

I slowly shake my head and answer in a dazed-like state, "...N-Nothing."

He softly places his hands on my shoulders and pushes me down onto the couch keeping his eyes locked with mine. "I can give you something else to think about."

I nod at the same pace as my earlier movement and whisper, "...Kay."

Instead of acting confident like he was a few seconds ago his demeanor changes. He looks...different. I've never seen this side of him before, so it throws me off completely. "...Christ-?"

"I want to have sex with you," he says instantly.

My eyes widen in shock. "W-Wait a second-"

"And I don't want to have sex with you just to have sex. I can actually stand being around you. I want to be around you."

I can feel my face begin to burn. I know that he noticed because his cocky grin returned.

What does that even mean? He's not saying that he likes me, right? There's no way! That's impossible! He doesn't even-

"You're thinking about me right now, aren't you?"

I quickly shake my head.

"I can tell by the look on your face," he continues coming closer.

"St-Stop staring at me!" I yell turning my face away from his.

His grin only gets wider. "I think I like you."

My ears might as well be on fire now. I'm not even sure if my heart is still beating.

He leans in and places his lips against my ear. "You like me too, right?" He breaths.

My ears have definitely burned off, and my heart has, for a fact, stopped.

I don't reply.

"I'm not going to do anything until you answer."

The safest thing to do is not move.

The silence is nerve-wracking. After what seems like hours have gone by, I slowly look over to him. His eyes pierce into mine.

He finally sighs bringing his face closer. "I'm sick of waiting." He moves over to my neck and bites on it gently.
