May's car comes to a stop in front of Ruby's house.

May: It's game day. So, what's the plan?

"Open the door for her."

May: Mm-hmm.

"Tell her she looks nice, but not too much because that's creepy."

May: Don't be creepy.

"No. And, uh, when I dance with her, I'm putting my hands on her hips. Okay, I got this."

Y/n gets out of the car and leans into the car window.

"Love you."

May: Bye.

Y/n walks up to the front door, pink corsage in hand, then rings the doorbell. He waits with a nervous look for the door to open, woth Tai the other side holding a butcher's knife.  Y/n's smile fades and he freezes. Tai grins at him.

Tai: You must be Y/n.

"Yeah."

Tai: I'm Yang and Ruby's dad. Put her there.

They shake hands as Y/n is left in confusion.

Tai: Hell of a grip. Come on in here. Come on.

Tai drags Y/n inside and closes the door. Y/n follows Tai towards the kitchen, where....

Raven: Hi, Y/n. You look very handsome.

Y/n just got the shock of a goddamn lifetime

"T-Thank you..."

Raven: (whispers) That is his name right?

Tai: Yes, Raven it's a pretty common name

Raven laughs and shakes her head.

Raven: I'm gonna go get the girls

Tai: Okay.

She walks out, leaving Y/n with Tai, who starts to polish knives.

Tai: You all right, Y/n?

"Y-Yeah"

Tai: Because you look pale. You want something to drink? Like a bourbon or a scotch, or something like that?

"Oh, um...I'm not old enough to drink..."

Tai: Heh that's the right answer.

"Okay um, Tai..."

Tai: Yeah?

"With all due respect, what the actual fuck?!"

Tai: (whispers) Quiet down! And language!

"Quiet down?! You never told me you were married to her!"

Tai: We aren't married, we divorced ages ago after Yang was born. She's just here to see the girls go off to prom.

"This is weird..."

Tai: Look, the girls don't know that we know each other, and if they find out we do, you'll be outed

"Actually...Yang knows..."

Tai: What?!

"Yeah...I kinda webbed her to a door...NOT LIKE THAT BUT LOOK IT JUST HAPPENED OKAY"

Tai: Just...don't let Ruby find out

Tai's eyes widen as he sees Ruby dressed in a beautiful red dress with a rose print on it and Yang in a black silk gown with a yellow trim down the sides
