Family Dinner?

I open it and see Dolores

"How'd you get in?" I ask and let her in

"I heard your footsteps" she says and I smile. "I brought you breakfast" she says handing me a plate

"Thank you"

"Of course, and I was wondering if you wanted to hangout today?" She asks and I look at Bruno, he nods and I smile
"I'd love to, I'll meet you in town at eleven?"
"Sounds great" She kisses my hair and leaves. I give the food to Bruno and he plates us.

"How's your sleep?" I ask
"Good, yours?"
"Good, no dreams" I say and he nods "are you okay with me going out, because if your not I can stay here and-"

"No, I want you to go out. Make friends I won't be here forever" Bruno says and I sigh
"Aye, don't say that you're only fifty"

"I'm just saying, I don't want you to continue living in the walls" I laugh and eat breakfast. I go and get changed. I changed into a white flowy top and a sage green skirt with tan shoes. I put my hair in a ponytail and gently put the outfit Maribel gave me in my bag. '

"Be careful mija" Bruno says and I hug him

"I will be"
"And if they ask you to stay for dinner you can"
"I love you" I say and he kisses my hair
"I love you too nina" I sneak out the house and walk along the forest and then run to town. I sit on the fountain and wait for Dolores.

"Are you waiting for someone?" A boy asks and I raise my eyebrow

"Yes, can I help you?" he smiles and stares at me "Are you good?"
"Yeah, yeah I just-" He starts when Dolores smacks him upside the head

"Stop messing with her Camilo" he shifts into himself and smiles at me. Dolores puts her arm around my shoulder and leads me to the house and into her room. Her eyes are glassy

"Are you okay?" I ask and she starts crying. I hug her "What's wrong?'

"Isabela is marrying Mariano!" she cries and I rub her back. I comfort her and she cries, it must be heartbreaking to see the person you love get married to someone else.
"When is he-?"
"Tonight" she lets out another sob. After she calms down we go down and find Mirabel, I check her room.

"Hey Mirabel" I say and she smiles
"Hola!"
"Here" I say giving her the outfit
"You really don't have to, you can keep it" she smiles
"It's yours, plus purple is your color" I say and she smiles sheepishly.

"And green is yours, wow" she says and I laugh

"Thanks" she smiles at me and I walk around, trying to find where Dolores went. I see her sitting in the garden, clearly listening to something. I walk around and see Mirabel sneak into Bruno's tower.

~Time Skip~

I hear Camilo telling Mirabel about Bruno

"Seven foot frame" that's definitely wrong "rats along his back" yeah, that's pretty accurate "when he calls your name it all fades to black" what is Camilo on? "Yeah he sees your dreams and feasts on your screams" Boy needs to check his resources. I scoff and walk to find Dolores. I see her chatting with a handsome man. It must be Mariano. Dolores nods to me and he nods

"Y/n would you like to stay for dinner?" Alma asks
"I feel like I'm intruding on something" I say and she shakes her head

"Nonsense" she takes my hands and sits me down beside Mairano and Mirabel. I smile at Antonio and he whispers to his rats. Odd. Dinner starts, you can feel the tension and I know Bruno is sitting on the other side of the wall. Dolores and Mirabel are staring at each other and Dolores whispers something to Camilo which makes him shift into Mirabel and Bruno and then himself. His eyes are messed and I take a sip of water. Camilo whispers something to Felix and he spit out his water at me. I gaps and Mariano looks at me with a worried look. I smile at him and dry myself with a napkin.

'Sorry' Fleix mouths before whispering to Pepa a cloud swirls around her head

"Pepa, the could" Alma says nervously

"Clear skies" Pepa whispers over and over. She whispers to Julieta and I hear

"Bruno's vision" My heart beats and my hands start sweating. Everything goes crazy, Lusia is crying, Mirabel is trying desperately to move the proposal along, Dolores is about to cry, Isabela looks mortified and the storm is growing. Thunder cracks and a plant attacks Maraino's nose, rain pours and Mirabel tries to grab the vision but sends it flying towards Alma. Everyone is soaked, Mariano and his mother run out, I can't really blame them. I would run too. Luisa, Isabela, Pepa and Agustine run out and I sit there. It's not raining anymore and I stand up

"I should probably leave" I say nervously

"Y/n I'm so sorry, I don't know what just happened" Julieta says and I rush out the door. Someone grabs my wrist and Camilo stands there

"Are you okay?" he asks

"I'm okay, are you okay you're the one who turned into two different people" I say and he rubs his neck

"That's a good point, I'm okay, just a little shock" I nod and smile, he steps closer "Sorry Mamma and Pa soaked you" I laugh

"I think they have something against me" I joke and he nods

"Totally" I smile and he pulls me into a hug. I tense and then melt into the hug, I feel safe when I'm with him. He pulls away with a red face and runs inside. I run around the house and sneak in.
