"What did you do?" I ask quietly, looking at Camilo. He's silent "Camilo?"

"I threw him out" He says, I look at his knuckles, they're split too, way worse than mine. How did I not notice?
"You attacked him?" He breathes out.

"Yes, I didn't want him to hurt you" He holds my hands, tracing my bruises "it didn't work and he hurt you anyways. I'm so sorry mi vida" I look at him. "I never wanted to hurt you"
"I know amor" I hug him

"I just wan-" I put a finger against his lips
"I understand, I'm not mad"
"You aren't?" He asks hesitantly, I smile slightly
"You thought you were doing the right thing, it might not have been but I'm not mad"

"Thank you" He whispers and hugs me around the waist. We go to my room and I take off my sandals. I sit on my bed and he lays beside me. We're silent, what are we supposed to talk about? I stretch my legs out and play with the ring on my finger. Camilo grabs my legs and lays them across his lap, I hug him, my head on his. His arm around my waist, I'm sorta on his lap.

"I'm scared" I whisper "I don't want him to come back"

"He won't, if Abuela is kicking him out he won't" Camilo says rubbing my back. I nod and someone knocks on my door.
"It's time for lunch, Abuela says you don't have to come down if you don't want to" Mirabel hugs me tightly

"We'll come" She smiles "Great!" I tie my sandals on and walk down with Camilo. I sit down and everyone talks about their days, thunder rolls and I look at Pepa. I lean over

"Are you okay?" I whisper and she smiles at me

"Si, si" Felix grabs his wife's hand and I smile.

"Y/n, Camilo I have some news for you two" Alma says, standing up. I smile at her "Tyler and his family have been kicked out" His family, Sienna too? I force my smile.

"Thank you Abuela" Camilo says and she beams
"Thank you Alma, truly"
"Of course, you're our family. I want to keep you safe and happy" She says and I smile for real. I sit in the den with Camilo, my legs on his. I play with his hand and he puts his head on mine, butterflies flutter around. I love this boy. I love this boy with my whole heart.
"Lets dance" Camilo jumps up and plays a slow song

"Amor" I sigh and he pulls me up. He wraps his arms around my lower waist, pulling me against him. I put my arms around his neck and rest my head on his shoulder. We sway to the music for a while, I look up at him

"Y/n, I love you so much" He whispers and I smile
"I love you too Camilo Madrigal" He kisses me gently and I kiss him back.
