Birthday

"It is not"
"Yes, everyone wants something front there birthday" Camilo says simply and I laugh.
"I can't think of anything. My mind has not been birthday mode" He wraps his arms around my waist and lifts me up again.

"I'll figure something out"

"I can walk you know" I say

"No, no. It's your birthday" He says and walks up the road
"Not yet"

"Still" Casita opens the door and Camilo puts me down.

"Mamma!" Camilo yells, grabbing my and and walking into the kitchen "it's Y/n birhtday in a few days"
"Ay, yes" Pepa smiles at us
"And she won't tell me what she wants" He complains
"I said I don't want anything" I say simply

"So you have to help me figure something out" Camilo says, letting go of my hand "Casita?" He asks and the tiles slide me away

"Camilo!" I yell and Casita slides me up the stairs and throws me into my room. The door slams shut, I jump up and pull on it. It won't open "This is a bit excessive!" I bang on the door. The floor boards thump and I know she's laughing at me. I sit on my bed and take off my sandals. I lay on the bed and prop my legs on the wall

"Y/n" Someone whispers, I sit up slightly

"Y/n!" Another voice yells, I sit on my knees, I look at the window.

"Help us!" A girls voice screams and I walk over to the window. I open the door and stand on the small balcony
"You did this" A boys voice says and I look around, something grabs my hand and pulls me over the railing. I shriek and punch the hand. The railing presses into my hips.

"You'll pay" Tyler sneers, his hand tight around my wrist, digging into the bruises. Tears prick my eyes, my feet aren't touching the ground. My bedroom door bangs open and Isabela runs in. Tyler lets go and I fall back.
"Y/n" Isabela drops to the ground and I scramble back breathing hard. "What happened?" She asks arms around me. Dolores said they left, Dolores said they're gone. Felix made sure. "It's okay, slow breaths" She hugs me tightly. I hold onto her arm and she looks around. She must've seen them, she had too.

"Did you-" I breathe out
"I did, I thought they left" She helps me up and leads me into my room. "Casita, lock the door and don't let anyone in or out" The door swings closed and I frown. I sit on my bed and Isa sits beside me.
"I thought they left" I say quietly and she hugs me tightly

"I'll be right back" She stands up and I grab her hand
"Don't tell Camilo" She nods and walks out. I sit on my bed and pull on my shoes, I look at my wrists. They're black and blue, I sigh and the door opens. Julieta, Alma and Isa walks in.
"What happened?" Alma asks. I tell her what happened and Julieta gives me and an areapa.

"I thought they left?" Isabela asks
"They did, I saw them leave" Felix says in the door "I don't know what they're doing back" he looks out the window.
