The Future

"Just checking" I say and he grins. I kiss him and go upstairs. I lay in bed and fall asleep. I wake up to someone shaking my shoulder gently.

"Wake up" Luisa whispers and I sit up. I put on my normal clothes, a white off the shoulder shirt and a sage green skirt that stops above my ankles. I tie my sandals on and brush my hair. I sit her on my bed and stand in front of her
"So?"

"What?"

"Mateo" I whisper and she turns beet red

"Oh right, well we-"
"Breakfast" Alma yells and Lusia bolts out of my room. I sigh and walk after her. I sit down at breakfast and Camilo rests his hand on my leg.

"So how was your date?" Juliet asks

"It was fun" I say taking a bite of my food

"We danced a lot," Camilo say and I nod.

"Good!" Julieta says, when breakfast is done I chase after Luisa

"Luisa" I call as she reaches the barn.

"Y/n?" She asks as Mateo walks out

"Hola Luisa" He says and smiles at me
"Hola, I'm Y/n a friend of Luisa's"
"Pleased to meet you" He says and I shake his hand, Luisa is bright red.

"So what are your plans today?" I ask innocently and Luisa grabs me
"I'll be right back" She says, her hands under my armpits and she carries me away
"He seems nice" I smile at her
"Go find you boyfriend" She mutters and drops me

"That was rude" I say and she helps me up
"Sorry, it's just going so well with Mateo I don't want to mess things up"
"Alright, sorry, sorry. I'll back off" I say

"Thank you" she starts walking away

"For what it's worth he adores you" I say and she smiles bashfully

"How can you tell?"
"The way he looks at you!" I laugh "he looks at you like your the most beautiful person in the world"
"How Camilo looks at you?" She asks
"Or how I look at Camilo" I say, shrugging and she laughs
"Thanks Y/n" She walks away to Mateo and they walk inside the barn. I walk into town and Tyler blocks my path

"Excuse me" I say and he smirks at me

"Say please"

"No, move" I cross my arms, who does he think he is?

"Y/n, be polite," He says, grabbing my chin. I grab his wrist and twist it backwards, he gasps
"Get out of my way" I say and he steps to the side. I let go of his wrist and walk past him and to Camilo.

"Amor that was amazing" He says and I smile

"What are you up to?" I ask and turn to the kids
"We're playing! Can you play with us?" A boy asks
"Sure, what are we playing?"
"You're the princessa" A girl says, grabbing my hand "And Camilo's the prince and he has to save you from us" she says and they all pull me away from Camilo.

"Help" I call out and dramatically throw my hand up to my forehead. They run around for twenty minuets and they're quite fast. Camilo grabs my free hand and scoops me up

"I saved you!" He says proudly and kids cheer. 

"Now you kiss her" A boy says and Camilo kisses my cheek. They all 'awe' and run into the field. Camilo gently puts me on the fountain and sits beside me. I put my legs on his and lean on his shoulder. I see Tyler and his sister whispering.

"Do you see-" I start but am cut off by Camilo's lips. I kiss him back and start to pull away but he kisses my jaw. I raise my eyebrows at him in question and he smirks. He picks me up bridal style and walks up to Casita. He opens my door and puts me on my bed. He hovers over me and I press my lips to his. I slide my hands into his hair and he kisses my neck. He lays beside me and I cuddle him. We lay there like that for a while
"Y/n?" Camilo asks, sitting up slightly
"Hm?

"Do you want kids?"
"Eventually" I reply and look at him "You?"
"I do, two boys and two girls"

"Four kids?"

"Yep, or two girls and one boy" he says, looking at the ceiling "and one of their names would be Camila"
"Like Camilo?" I ask

"Exactly and she will be my favorite"
"That's not how that works Amor"

"Well what names do you like?" He asks

"I like Luna or Maria"

"And for a boy?"
"Lucas or Daniel and we can call him Danny" I say, I freeze. I just said we. Oh god.

"I like Danny," Camilo says quietly and I smile. We lay there, not saying anything.

"What about marriage?" I ask 

"Yeah I want to get married, you?"
"Yes, in a field with flowers and a beautiful arch" I say

"What else?" Camilo asks

"And there would be so much music and dancing and lanterns during the reception. The ceremony would be at early sunset." I look at him and he's smiling at me

"It sounds beautiful" I smile at him. I'm falling in love with Camilo Madrigal. I kiss his jaw and cuddle into his shoulder, he kisses my hair and I close my eyes. I feel Camilo put his head on mine and his breaths even out. I hear my door open, a sigh and the door closes. I drift off to sleep. I wake up and roll over, its raining, I didn't close my window. I sigh deeply and feel an arm pull me against someone. I look back, Camilo buries his head in my shoulder. I fall back asleep to the sound of rain and Camilo's breathing. I wake up and yawn. Pepa is standing in my doorway

"Mamma?" Camilo asks groggily and she smiles  

"Sorry, sorry" she whispers and closes the door. I sit up and push the hair out of my face. Camilo rubs his eyes and smiles at me. He kisses my cheek and we get up. We walk out of my room and it's raining. I love rain, I find calm in it. Pepa grabs Camilo and pulls him into his room and I go into the kitchen

"Hola Julieta" I say and she smiles
"Hola"

"Do you need help?" I ask and she looks grateful
"Please, if you can start the soup" she says and I start chopping vegetables. "You look like you just woke up" she says

"I had a nap" I say and she laughs. She ties an apron around my waist and slides some dough in front of me. I start kneading the dough. We talk about everything. I slide the bread into the oven and wipe my hands. It's chilly in the house since it's very open.

"Thank you for your help" she says and I hand her back the apron and walk away. I walk into my room and sit on my bed and read a book. I sit on my bed, feet under the covers and read until my door flies open and I scream.

"Sorry, sorry" Mirabel says and I sigh "Someone's here for you" What?

"Who?" I ask putting on my shoes

"I dunno, I've only seen them around town once" She says and I go down stairs. Tyler and his sister are waiting for me.
