Part 13.

Laying there now fully clothed, he held me while we stared at the ceiling.
"Lily?! Come on we're leaving!" I heard my dad shout from the back door making us both jump up and run down to the back yard.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" Jake asked turning me around.
"I have school?" I reminded him as he smiled.
"I'll pick you up when you get off" he said before giving me a kiss. Turning I see my dad, slash, and everyone else looking at us.

Ignoring them, I walked out front and got in the passenger seat while my dad got in the driver side so we could head home.
"You seem happy..." he said looking over at me. Smiling a little bit more and looking down at my lap I finally replied to him.
"Because I am"
"Just promise me one thing...." He stated making me look at him.
"What's that?" I answered
"Just...take things slow ok? Don't let anyone pressure you into something you don't want to do and aren't ready for..." he started before I cut him off.
"Like sex?" I stated before he sighed.
"Yeah....sex" he said uncomfortably
"Look Dad, you don't have to give me that talk if you don't want to. Mom already did that..." I said to him as he breathed out a sigh of relief.
"Thank god" he reacted while smiling. Eventually we pulled into the driveway and I made my way upstairs getting ready for bed and already dreading the new school year.

6am came around too fast and I found myself slumping to the bathroom getting ready for school. Pulling on my high waisted Levi shorts and my white fitted cropped t shirt, I straightened my hair, applied some mascara, and slid into my black and white vans.

"Hey dad, ready to go?" I asked coming into the kitchen see Axl still in his pajama pants and tshirt while sipping coffee.
"Yeah let's go" he said putting his slippers on and grabbing his keys.
"Dad, are you ever going to take those cornrows out?" I asked laughing as he had them pulled back in a hair tie.
"Nope, now I'm going to keep them just to annoy you" he replied as I rolled my eyes. We pulled up to the school and I grabbed my black back pack, tossing the strap over my shoulder as I closed the door.
The day went by excruciatingly slow until the final bell rang. Making my way to my locker I pulled out the books I needed for homework and closed the door walking down the hall to the entrance of the school.
"Hey pretty Lady, you need a ride?" I looked up from my phone and saw Jake leaning up against the passenger side of his car with his arms crossed smiling at me. I smiled back putting my phone away before I walked over and he pulled me into a kiss.

"Well damn, you finally snatched her up didn't you?" We both turned and saw Colton who was smiling at us.
"Whats up man!" Jake said as we both walked over to him.
"Nothing man, living the dream, how graduated life treating ya?" He asked as Jake shrugged.
"It's ok, you would know if you didn't fucking flunk last year" he joked around with him as Colton rolled his eyes.
"Dude shut the fuck up, Atleast someone can keep an eye on your girl now that you're not here" he reminded him, god it was like I wasn't even there at all.
"True..."
"Uhm guys? You know I'm here right?" I said butting in as they both laughed and Jake put his arm around me.
"Fully aware that you're still here babe, you ready to go?" He asked as I nodded my head and got in the car.

"Where to?" He asked looking at me.
"Anywhere you want to go" I replied smiling at him as he took off down the street.
