You were confused, it's not like you knew really any other guys except Jonah, and Jeans friends, but he would've recognized them, no?

Maybe just because it was dark, but how'd he even know that the guy outside was for you. You tried not to think about it to much, while walking through the lobby. Approaching the doors, you saw 2 cars side by side, one recognizably Jean's and the other just, recognizable.

It was, Colt?!

He was standing outside with his arms crossed, his phone lit up in one.

"Colt? What're you even doing here?" you asked, letting the heavy doors shut behind you.

He took a deep sigh, before glaring into your eyes. A small grin appeared on his face when he saw you. "I miss you so much." he started, taking a closer step towards you.

It all came back to you again, everything he said, everything he did, and how much he hurt you mentally, and physically.

"You broke up with me though? Why come all the way out here just to say that?" you asked, switching your gaze towards Jean's car as you walked towards him.

You felt a pause in your step, with his hand firmly grasped against your wrist. "Stop, let go," you said aggressively, turning your head to face him.

He stared at you with a psychotic look, before placing another hand on the sides of your face to keep you looking at him.

"[Y/N], I'm sorry about that, just seeing you with someone else hurts me inside. It makes me, I just- I just feel like without you I'm nothing, it makes me want to die."

He'd done this before, tried manipulating you to stay into the relationship, until he finally gave up and let you go. You obviously still loved him at that point, you just didn't want to admit to yourself that he was such a bad person.

"I can't count how many times you've done this to me, plus, I literally have my boyfriend waiting for me over there." you replied, trying to pry his tight hands off of your face.

"That doesn't matter to me, say something came up. Please, just let me reconnect with you and become a better person for you." he pleaded, he was this desperate he had to come crawling back to you.

After you managed to push him off of you, you said; "People like you will never change, so go away. I don't care."

You sauntered towards Jean finally, not being able to hear the words that Colt had mumbled to himself.

You hopped in the front seat right beside him, as he immediately started the engine once the door was closed. "Hii," you said, dragging it out as you were planting a kiss on the side of his cheek.

Jean looked disinterested, he was more focused on his driving than he was paying attention to finally being near you again.
"What's wrong?" you asked, looking towards the side of his face.

He kept his eyes forward, both hands on the steering wheel. "You don't have anything going on with that guy, right?" he asked, not taking a single peek at your face.

"What, Colt? Of course not, I would never." you replied.

"Oh, that's Colt? But good. What was that all about though?" he asked, finally taking a glance at you.

You shrugged. "I mean we used to-" you started, but got cut off by the sound of his phone going off. On the screen of his car, you could see "cornball 🧑🏻‍🦲" was calling him.

"Yo, what do you need?" Jean asked, accepting the call.

"You on your way?"

"Yeah, just had to pick up [Y/N], why?"
