"Why are you here?"

He grinned at me. I can tell that he was going to be playful again. Maliit lamang ang pasensya ko, if he wasn't my brother i would have wipe his playful expression right now.

It can be very irritating.

"I'm only here to see you. As your older brother, i have the right to look after my cute younger sister." He answered.

I stare at him emotionlessly. Shivering at what he called me.

"Look after me? No thanks. I can look after myself without your help. I've done it for this past 10 years without you yet here i am, breathing alive." I snarled at him.

He just showed up again today acting like everything is okay between us then saying he cares for me when 10 years ago he just left without any explanation and goodbye.

The nerve of this guy.

"That's a harsh thing to say to your older brother. I'm hurt." Balik niyang aniya.

I rolled my eyes at him. His tone doesn't even give away his feelings nor he looks hurt. His face is simply playful which is really irritating. It's one of the reason i can't barely understand his feelings.

Yet even though he looks playful, i always thought that he is heartless to the point i would think he doesn't even care about our family.

I hated it. But it was ironic that i was the one who became heartless.

"You left for 10 years. Don't expect that i will welcome you with an open arms." I said, sounding sarcastic.

He hummed calmly. "You do have a point. Maybe i just expect too much from you, my cute younger sister. "

I frown dahil sa kanyang tinawag sa akin. "Don't call me that."

He tilted his head dahil sa aking sinabi. Amusement was evident in his eyes for a second. Sumilay din ang ngiti sa kanyang labi as he stare at me tauntingly.

I felt a irritation dahil sa kanyang ekspresyon. I have the sudden urge to punch him in the face and give him some black eye but i stop myself. This isn't the time to think irrational and childish.

I have to keep my calm.

"Aww... my cute little sister is grown up now. It must have been hard for you this past 10 years." His smile turn mischievous. "You've changed."

I deadpanned. He stated a fact but his expression was still neutral. I don't know kung nakikipagbiruan ba siya sa akin or he is just simply testing my small patience to cause some havoc in this place.

Nevertheless, he is still ticking me off.

I decided to examine his face.

I only noticed na mas lalo na siyang mature ngayon kaysa sa huli namin na pagkikita. My brother Houstin was skinnier than me before. He was the most playful and sweetest older brother, he is also handsome however he was not the most built man i know. Iniisip ko pa noon na baka itangay siya ng hangin kung sakaling umalis siya ng bahay.

He wasn't really in a good condition, but that was 10 years ago.

Looking at him right now, everything about him changed. His feature become more built. Honestly he is two times bigger than before as his presence reeks bloodlust.

"I can say the same thing to you." I said back.

He chuckled. "After what happened 10 years ago, many things changed. And both of us are part of the changes, Violet."
