I disgustingly stare at the lover beside me. They have been kissing each other for about 10 minutes. Rinig na rinig ko ang tunog ng kanilang mga labi at ang ingay na lumalabas sa kanila.

Hindi lamang sila dahil may iilan pa akong nakikita na halos maghubad na sa aking harapan habang naghahalikan. Para bang wala silang pakialam sa kanilang kapaligiran. It was as if they have their own world.

20 minutes palang ang itinatagal ko sa party na ito pero gusto ko na kaagad na umuwi. Party is not my thing and will never be. More than that, this party was not the party i expected. This place only reeks of teenagers lust and alcohols.

Call me boring but i don't find the 'fun' in this kind of wild party. Fun in my vocabulary is very different. I prefer to stay at home and enjoy my life silently and peaceful. I'd rather read books and watch movies than going to this party.

If it weren't for those three hindi sana ako pumunta dito.

I could only sigh at umalis sa aking pwesto. This party is already boring to me. Worse is i am all alone right now since Vaughn is with Nicholas and Domenico. Some school jocks drag the three of them to have some.. fun.

At least that's what the school jocks said.

Napagpasyahan ko na lamang na pumunta sa kusina ng makita na walang masyadong tao doon. I even grab some wine bottle. I didn't bother getting some wine glass since deretso ko ng ininom ang wine sa wine bottle mismo.

Napansin ko pa ang hindi makapaniwala na pagtitig sa akin ng napadaan na babae.

Hindi ko lamang siya pinansin. Sumandal ako sa may pader at patuloy na umiinom. Seryoso lamang ang aking mukha habang nakatitig sa mga hormonal teenager sa aking harapan.

Hindj ko masyadong binigyang pansin ang mga nasusulyapan kong mga hormonal teenager. I even caught a glimpse of Catherine but i ignore her. She doesn't matter to me so i won't even bother giving her minutes of attention.

I took a few gulp from my wine bottle at sinandal ang ulo sa may pader before taking a deep breath.

"A surprise to see you in this party."

Napalingon ako biglaan na nagsalita. Tumaas ang aking kaliwang kilay ng makita ang professor na parating mukhang puyat. Agad ko itong naalala dahil hindi nagbago ang itsura nito na mukhang hagard, he seems so full of stress.

"I should be asking you that. Kinda amusing to see a professor in this kind of party." I retorted.

He looks at my wine bottle for a second before he lazily walk towards the refrigerator. Binuksan niya ito at kumuha ng can of beer. Binuksan niya ito at walang pag aalangan na ininom. My lips twitch when i saw him drink the entire beer in a few gulps.

"I came here only for the free drinks. Can't refuse if it's free."

I look at him sideway. "You're alcoholic?"

"An addict to be specific." He didn't even hesitate to blurt out shamelessly. "You know what kids say this day, masarap ang bawal."

Nabalot kami ng katahimikan. Tinitigan ko lamang siya ng ilang segundo dahil sa kanyang sinabi. Something prick into my heart when i heard the last three words. Because i knew he is right especially from my experience.

Tumingin ako sa pwesto ni Vaughn. Nakakunot ang kanyang noo habang nakatingin sa can ng beer na ibinibigay sa kanya ng isa sa mga jocks. Then Vaughn shake his head at nagsalita, i can tell that he is refusing to drink the can of beer.

We stayed silent for a minute. Walang ekspresyon ang aking mukha habang nakatingin parin kay Vaughn.

"Say professor, what's the difference between love and obsession?" I asked out of nowhere. I don't why asked that question. I just have the urge to ask him that maybe because i'm curious.
