Violet Anly Rose, known as the Lady of the Night. She's the current oldest female vampire in existence, the ruler in south.
Her lineage is rich of history, an ancient as everyone knows it. She prefer the silence, the nature around her. It lessened the chance of her getting hurt. From humans and vampire alike.
Also being ancient mean she's so powerful.
She represent the color of violet just like her name. Every vampire always remember her once they saw any things with a color of violet.
She sighed and looked at the sunrise outside the window.
It was her usual routine.
Every day she just stay in the mansion. She never leave the mansion. Only the mansion was her place, her home.
All she could talk to was her five attendants, called Black Hellion. The cook, the gardener, the butler, the maid, and her shadow guard.
The cook, cooks the food for them. Unlike other vampires they can eat foods like human. The gardener takes care of the environment of her mansion.
The maid follow her orders and go to the market to buy foods and things whether it's day and night since they have no problem with sunlight. It doesn't affect them since they are at another level.
Her butler takes care of business matters and the things she do not give attention at her states. Lastly, her shadow guard who always follow her to protect her from harm and the one she always give order to kill on her behalf.
They are the ones doing her jobs, her loyal servant. She only act if it really needs her concern.
Outside of her mansion is the place she ruled. Her place have 25% population of vampire including the 5% of human, wizard, and witch.
If anyone wants to enter her place they need her permission by sending a letter. Of course, she have to approve it. Tresspaser die without no one knowing the reason how they were killed.
But she is not like any other vampire who doesn't like human. She doesn't hate nor she like them. It depends on their attitude. But when it comes to her domain, she makes sure everything goes well.
She doesn't want to be in trouble. If something bad happened, she ends it immediately.
No one contradicted her. The last time someone angers her, the vampires curse that person.
Since then, no one dare to anger her. The vampires knew what she could do. Her words are powerful. Everyone always choose to follow her.
Her people is well deciplined. They know how to control theirselves. They also know how to treat a human. So her place was simply called the city of peace. For they live in harmony with no fear between humans and vampires.
They only drink blood when they only buy human blood donated by a person willingly.
Of course if there is a city of peace, there is also a city of chaos.
It is rule by Titus Vaughn Phantom Vodwill, the Lord of the Night. He is the current oldest male vampire, ruler in the north. He is also known as the cold blooded vampire.
He on the other hand is a merciless vampire. Killing has always been his option. Of course he has a deep reason why he kills those beings.
He is known to be an emotionless guy but only Violet knows he is actually the opposite. His cold exterior hides his true feelings to save his self from pain.
But he is not like her. No human being lives in his place. Everyone is a vampire because he never interacted with human after that day.
He hates them for unknown reason but she knew it was because of the human why the person he love died.
She is the only one who knows why he hates human because she sees everything with her own eyes.
She saw his tears, his mourning, and how he change.
Not only because of that. On that day everything change from everyone single one of them.
Why? Because that was also the day Harriet and Gregory died, their friends.
It was also the day she and Phantom were known as the oldest vampire. They became the vampire dawn also known as the vampires light or vampires beginning.
Until right now, they are currently the oldest vampire along with the other elders. They became known as the Big Four.
The Elders are the supreme being. They are the symbol of the vampire existence and power. They're like a pillars. Without the Elders support, the vampires are nothing.
There was a knock on her door three times and then her attendant, the butler entered.
"My lady, an elder have sent you a invitation."
She walked toward the butler holding the invitation. She took the invitation into the butler hand and read it.
Her face is serious. There was no trace of emotion in her face even her eyes that seemed lifeless.
Maybe if she and Phantom have in common then it would be their expressionless face that vampires fear.
They are unable to read what they think is their concern.
But the vampires concern is replaced every time their attention goes to Phantom and her unchanging face.
After all, they do not look like the oldest vampires. They seem younger, very incredible indeed.
"It only came earlier. It looks like it is from Lord Nicholas." Said the butler.
She finished reading the invitation but she just put it in the drawer of her desk.
"I'm not going." She said simply.
The butler didn't ask any more questions. In the days, months, and years that passed someone always sent her an invitation but she never went to any of it.
They are used to it but he still hopes that one day this lady in front of him will go out in the mansion that feels like a prison.
"Should i send a word, my lady?" Asked the butler.
She closed her drawer before looking at the butler waiting for her answer.
"No need. They'll know when they can't find me."
The butler nodded before bowing his head.
"Then i'll be taking my leave."
She said nothing while the butler left. She returned her gaze out the window and saw the sunrise.
It was majestic.
Suddenly, she felt a familiar feeling. The feeling of longing and the feeling of being alone.
She sigh again and could only whisper in the air.
If she is with her beloved she would have been fine. Maybe she wasn't alone right now and maybe she's not trap into her filthy past.
Maybe she wouldn't have the nightmare of the dawn.
