VI | Sneak Out

"So it's a yes or no?" Hyunjin questioned.

The night sky looked perfect against Felix's eyes as he looked around to see the stars shinning against the black abyss of the sky. It was a mesmerizing sight. It was the most beautiful art in Felix's eyes, alive with in raw energy, a song for the eyes to admire. The stars spread in the sky spreading a sense of warmth among the coldness of the night. Felix's eyes glowed with pure adoration when he tried counting the stars.

A sudden anger tried to creep inside him as he got angry on his father for not letting him view all of these earlier. How cruel it was that Felix was hidden all these years. Felix liked adventure, he wanted to explore but his father never allowed him to.

His whole body relaxed when a pair of strong hands pulled him towards a chest. Felix was rather shocked by the action but did not push away. They stayed like that as Hyunjin kept on rubbing circles on Felix's back in order to give him comfort. Felix felt surprisingly warm against Hyunjin in this cold night. "It's okay lix, I am here. You don't need to pretend" these words crashed on Felix like a thunder as felt his eyes getting watery. Just how hyunjin successfully read him like an open book.

"I know how hard it is to pretend a person who you are not. If you want to be yourself you can do that around me. I am always here. I will stay here even you don't want me to. Just let yourself feel happy" those felt like tearing Felix apart as tears were threatening to fall down Felix's eyes. He felt overwhelmed because of everything.

Quickly pushing Hyunjin away Felix started to walk away so that Hyunjin could not get the sight of his tears. Felix ran trying his best to calm down and wipe his tears. No one can see his tears. No one can make him vulnerable. Yet Felix found himself again running away from Hyunjin while the elder kept on chasing him.

They both ran after each other until they reached the forest in the middle of the kingdom. The forest was dark and black and the silentness of the place made it look scary. Both the boys entered the place not knowing what to do. Felix slowed down his pace seeing the unknown place around him. He turned around to find Hyunjin's figure around him as his eyes searched for Hyunjin all over the place. Felix's eyes didn't find Hyunjin and it made him think he has lost his way I the middle if a dark forest which seemed like it was cursed. Suddenly Felix heard a loud rawr from behind.

"Oh myyyyy" Felix screamed. "Hahhahahaaa Lixie" Hyunjin stood there laughing heartily while looking at the Felix who was scared to death. "I thought I lost you idiot! And you are laughing?!" Felix started punching Hyunjin. "Ouuu that hurt lixie" Hyunjin said, still laughing. "Want more?" Felix continued to punch him but it wasn't too strong to hurt Hyunjin. "Woah woah woahhh calm down boy" Hyunjin said and hugged Felix tightly. "You will never loose me Lix. I will stay" He said and tightened the hug.

Felix gave in and hugged him too. Hyunjin's words comforted Felix in a different sort of way. He never felt this kind of warm, never in his life he met someone who would say these and actually made their words true but somewhere he knew Hyunjin meant what he said. The older too wanted to stay with Felix. He wanted to comfort him, protect him, give him anything he needed and Love him. Why ? He didn't know. He just wanted to feel the way he felt for Felix.

Despite of the fact they met few days ago, it felt like they have known each other for the longest. The feeling of being with each other, the feeling of comfort they gave each other, the feeling of what feeling safe is was mutual to them. They wanted to live this moment for the rest of their life but unfortunately it was interrupted by someone. 

Both of them detached from the hug when they found a figure standing infront of them. It seemed like a man. 'Wait is this a human? No it can't be it has tail and paws too. Is it an animal?' Felix thought. "Who are you?" Asked Hyunjin. "I am chiron" the creature said. "What exactly are you?" Felix asked the creature. "Well I am a centaur. Haven't you seen us before?" Chiron asked.
"No actually-" "I have, there are many in my kingdom too" Hyunjin answered. "So are you from death Kingdom?" Chiron said. "Yeah I am" Hyunjin said and smiled. "Who is he?" The centaur said pointing at Felix. "He is my friend" Hyunjin replied.
