Everything seemed so congested. It feels as if the world has taken a 360 degree turn and changed into something much more terrific. Was it safe earlier though? The answer was still unknown. An expression of terror is common among people now. Earlier people woke up, did their jobs, went back to home and the cycle repeating. But nowadays the thought of even staying in their home felt scary. The probability of losing one's life increasing day by day. Did anyone want this to happen? No expect the one who opened the gateway. But was the person aware that it can cause this much trouble? Maybe not. Within all this chaos there sat a figure in the balcony of a house. It was no other than the girl whom Felix met a few days ago. A sigh left her mouth as blankly stared the sky. Unlike everyone else she was alone. Ever since she was born she found herself under the tree, the only friend of her in this cruel world. This world gave her nothing more than pain. Always fighting for her life, shelter and food. She was busy questioning the sky what she did wrong but she never got an answer back. She was way too emerged in her thoughts that she didn't even realise a figure walked behind her. It was until the place beside her was taken. The sudden movement instantly drew her back from her daze as she turned to look at the figure. No one said anything as they maintained a comfortable silence. Who wants to talk when the environment is already so calming? But the silence didn't stay for long as she questioned the figure. "What are you doing here?" She stared at him with curious eye as he tore his gaze from the beautiful sky to look in her direction. "Nothing, i am not sleepy so I thought I can come here and enjoy the breeze" he said. "Ohh it's kinda windy though" she said slightly shivering. "Are you cold? Let me give you my jacket" he said quickly opening it and putting it in her shoulder before she could even deny. "It was fine though, you can catch cold" she said wrapping herself in the jacket to provide some warmth. "I don't catch cold so easily. Don't worry" he said as he shook his head. "What's your name? I mean I only know Felix's name" she asked. "Ohh sorry for not realising. I am Han Jisung and you name is Hyejin right?" She nodded in return and then it was back to silence. "Do you know something about the gateway?" It was again Hyejin who spoke up. "Except the fact that it has been opened no" he said not getting why she said about the gateway. "About the person who opened it? Any suspect?" She again asked this perking up Jisung's interest. "Actually no. But could it be someone who we know about?" He asked. "Yes but they never wanted this kind of thing to happen" she sighed. "Wait you know who it is?" Being confused by her words she asked. "I don't it's just assumption" "How do you know that the person opening the gateway didn't mean these things to happen?" "No one knew what will the outcomes be" "You're right. Anyway you should go back it's really late" Jisung said getting up as well. "Yeah bye Jisung"she said leaving the place along with the jacket Jisung gave. Jisung stared along the direction she just left as his mind was filled with unanswered questions. Why did she say yes when she doesn't know? Who is she even? She is not a harm right? What if she is working for Jaehyun? What if she doesn't mean any good? The more he thought the more what if's increased. Was it necessary for them to know who the person is ? Did he know the person? What if it's the girl only? Jisung only intended to leave but his thoughts was racing in his mind and he knew going back to his stuffed room won't help him. What was it supposed to mean? Is she trying to help them or is she trying to distract from the truth? Whatever it was it confused Jisung. "What is happening?" Jisung said out loud being frustrated with himself. Why can't he figure things out?
He again took seat leaning as his eyes felt heavy because of thinking so much. Nothing except confusion crossed his mind as he kept on thinking about every possibilities. He felt sleepy. The cold breeze gently blew the locks of his head providing comfort. It felt as if the wind is saying that 'it's fine'. Sleep overtook as he felt himself getting lost in dreamland.
Everything looked familiar. It felt as if the past is repeating itself. What is happening? The same house, the same curtains, the same features, everything as usual. Everything was oddly familier to him and that's when he realised it was his palace. "Dad?" Jisung called out but there was no reply. Everything was so quiet. What is this ? He couldn't figure out. He looked over the places only to find everything the same when she was there. When his mom was there. "No, this isn't happening" he said to himself as walked around the room. He thought his nightmares stopped but what was this? Why did it feel so much real? "You" the sudden voice of a man attracted Jisung as looked towards it to find a man standing infront of his mother. Jisung figured that they couldn't see him. Was he just an illusion? But the sound of the voice seemed familiar. How? "Why are you here ?" Jisung's mother said. "You know the reason" he replied. "I don't understand why are doing this? Killing one's powerful than you won't help you" she said again. "I don't care. I don't know anything anymore. I want to end all the sufferings. My kingdom was always treated like shit by the others. Why? Because it's death and death brings nothing more than grief. So why will I care now? When I have so much powers? I won't back away now" the man yelled. "And i won't let anyone stop me" he said taking out a knife. "Please don't let your emotions take over you" Jisung's mother said still not trying to protect herself. "Mom no" Jisung knew this scene very well. It was the time he was going to stab her. She didn't even try to help herself why? Just why did she not protect herself? He just did not know. He ran to push her away but nothing seemed to work. This isn't happening. He won't see her mother getting stabbed again. "Why" he mumbled out as he knew he could not do anything. The past can't be changed. But why was he seeing this things? It's like he traveled in the past. Just why? Just when he was going to stab her he saw the mark on the man's hand. It was for a short time but he got the hold of it. It was a human skull. It made it obvious that the person was from death kingdom. He sounded familiar. The sight of Jisung's mother getting stabbed pained him. What was the reason of her death? Why did he stab her ? Just why? And who was that? Who ever it was Jisung won't let him slip. He did a terrible mistake by stabbing her. Jisung just stood there helplessly as he saw her mother screaming and the man laughing as if he won.
