Hyunjin sat on his bed. His head hung low. Not wanting to think of anything except what has happened. The past 24 hours had been traumatizing for him. When he felt Felix was taken away from him fear leapt all over his chest making him more anxious than ever. The feeling of leaving the boy haunted him. Somewhere he grew attached to the boy and wanted to wake up next to him everyday. Felix's touch, his deep voice, his soft yet deep looks is what Hyunjin craved for. He missed him badly and was worried for him. What will happen to them next? What will Jaehyun do to them? Will they ever be together again? Will he live ? Will he die? What is written for them in the future? No answer came to his mind which was filled with thousands of questions. A tangled mind with the strings getting more and more tangled is the correct way to describe his mind at the moment. Tears never fell out of his eyes but when he thinks of Felix being trapped and being detached from him, his eyes gets filled with water.
Hyunjin's mind came across what Mr. lee told earlier. His sister. Never in his life he had seen anyone as his sibling or a sibling figure. He was all alone, just had a friend, Kim Seungmin.
Hyunjin thought of getting up but the door opened with a creak and Hyejin showed up. Her eyes looked puffy. Her eyes were red but she had a smile on her face which looked odd as she rarely smiled. She was always giving everyone an intimidating look and rarely smiled. But today she looked different. She was clearly hurt but she was good at hiding it. Hyunjin guessed she was crying. He wanted to hold her hand and tell her that now as he knows he is her only family, he would do anything to save her. Hyunjin may have evil inside of him but that was far less than his goodwill. He has learnt to control the demon inside of him. After all he was half God. No matter how much he tried to take revenge by unfair means he ended up showing his good side.
"What you doing?" Hyejin asked. "Just sitting and thinking what has happened " Hyunjin said. "Hmm I am worried too" "Hyejin-ah?" Hyunjin said turning to her. "It's ok with you if I call you casually right?" Hyunjin said."Yeah" she said and gave a short smile. "How have you been ? All these years?" He asked. "If I am brutally honest, I was alone. Really alone, until Mr. Lee asked me to come here with you all" she said and looked at the ground. "Ohh" Hyunjin didn't have any idea what to talk to her about. It was awkward but with time it would heal the pain within both of their hearts that they suppressed for the past years. They were alone, and they struggled to live in this world. Hyunjin wasn't sure whether he was happy because there were times when he was really angry on Hyejin. But now that he got to know she is his sister he is really curious to know about her. "Do you know why you got separated?" Hyunjin asked. "No, ever since I opened my eyes I found myself under the tree. I really don't know how I survived. Maybe because of the tree or something" Hyejin completed. "And what about your power ?" "I am powerless" "How do you know that?" "I was never able to use any of the powers mentioned" "Have you ever tried to get into a realm?" " No" "That's where the problem arises. As a beginner you cannot use or realise your powers before you get in your realm. It can be really hard for a grown up to learn to reach their realm because their head's much more complicated than that of a child. As you have got the hold of your power you can use it anytime" "There was no one to tell these to me" Hyejin blurted out. "I can figure out. So do you want to learn ?" "Is it too late?" "It's never too late"
Hyunjin took his sister's hand and went somewhere where it was quite and where no one in the world could disturb them performing their powers. The woods was silent, it felt like the woods, the nature, the world, all were dissapointed and Hyunjin felt it. He knew something big was going to come that only can resolve by them and he included his long lost sister whom he needed the most at this time. Hyunjin knew gaining powers or rather performing it won't be easy at all but one should try atleast.
Hyejin looked at Hyunjin who was looking here and there practically dozing off every now and then. "What are we supposed to do now?" She asked her brother. "Hyejin ah I will call you noona from now(trans: elder sister in Korean used by male) " Hyejin's face was in a sort of way which profoundly described the irriation she felt at that moment. "Hye-Jin. That's what you are going to call me. By my name. You might be my brother and younger than me by a year or two but I am not habituated" Hyejin explained in a cool way. "Ahhh okk. Let's begin" Hyunjin said quietly laughing. "Where do we start from?" Hyejin asked. "Think of something or a particular event or a particular person but always remember that this certain memory or someone should give you a large amount of positivity to perform this kind of dark art" Hyunjin said. "Umm I don't have much memories." Hyejin said.
"You must have one. There's need to be one. Some friend? Some admired person?" Hyejin focused and closed her eyes eventually. The only face that came to her mind when she thought about positivity was Felix. She can't help but think of him. She has fallen for the guy who might like her brother but in order to use these powers she needs Felix. "I am sorry Hyunjin" she said to herself and she didn't even know what or why she was sorry to Hyunjin. Maybe because she shouldn't like someone whom his brother likes but can she help it anyway.
