The walk to Jeongin's house was silent as both of them was focused on their tangled hands and the warm feeling loving by both of them. They were focused on admiring how both of their hands fitted perfectly with each other. Chan's small one with Jeongin's large ones. Chan suddenly let out a laugh and Jeongin looked towards him with a questioning look.
"What's so funny here?" Jeongin stated and Chan shakes his head. "No it's just I am just amazed how my hand is so small against yours while you're practically younger than me" chan replied and Jeongin sent him a cheeky smile. "Maybe they were made to fit mine only" both of them smiled ear to ear and getting shy afterwards but not leaving each other's hands.
"We are here" Jeongin declared and Chan just stood there nodding. It wasn't the first time Chan visiting Jeongin's house. It was the safest place where they were able to hang out without getting caught easily.
"Mom I am home" Jeongin said as the door of this home opened revealing women wearing apron looking like she was cooking. "You were gone for long" she said and hugged Jeongin and that's when she got the sight of Chan standing there rocking back and forth on his feet.
"Oh you've brought your friend" she exclaimed happily and went to hug Chan. "It's been long since you have visited. Don't you like your second home? Do you not miss me?" Jeongin's mom said and Chan suddenly felt guilty for not visiting often. She always took care of him like an actual mother. Her touch always reminded him of how his mother always hugged him when he reached home.
"Come inside" she softly said and everyone entered, the fresh smell of cooking food directly hitting their nose. "looks like I interrupted your peaceful dinner tonight" Chan said and the women instantly shooked her head. " Not at all child you're always welcome here" he said making her way towards the kitchen. "Where is uncle?" Chan enquired and called out from the kitchen that he will be coming back any moment.
Chan nodded though she couldn't see and sat on the couch making him comfortable. "So? Sleep or Netflix and binge tonight?" Chan asked Jeongin when he took the place beside Chan. "Netflix please" Jeongin said. Chan was first opposing the idea but spending time with Jeongin is what he wanted that's why he just smiled. "Okay done" he cheered like a baby and embraced Jeongin out of no where.
"Hyung! What happened to you?" Jeongin said laughing at his hyung's childish behaviour. "Nothing" with that Chan started tickling Jeongin and series of laughter was heard. Jeongin's mom smiled to herself because she was again able her son laugh out loud. Jeongin was a complete different person when he wasn't with his friends so his mom couldn't feel more grateful to them.
"Hy- Hyung stop" Jeongin blurted out within giggles. Chan just found the sight of Jeongin laughing endearing that's why he came up with the plan of tickling. He stopped tickling and just stayed there hugging Jeongin while both of them layed on the couch, body tangled with each other.
Jeongin's mind went back on thinking the sudden change in the older. It was confusing for him truly. Yes, chan hugged him earlier but today something was different in the hug. Something more genuine was present making Jeongin feel much more comfortable. Jeongin knew the actual person Chan was, though Chan pretended to be hard and not letting anyone understand how broken he was Jeongin knew all. When Jeongin desparately wanted to help Chan but couldn't word then he used his powers on Chan, hoping to help to the other.
"Where you lost?" Chan suddenly said breaking Jeongin's deep thought bringing him back to Earth. "Nah nothing, just thinking about the forces thingy" Jeongin lied knowing Chan won't be able to read his mind. "Too good for you that I can't read your mind you little brat" Chan blabbered. "Okay food's here boys" both of them heard Jeongin's mother from the kitchen and quickly made their way to the dinning making a competition in between.
