The naked lady

Part 1: Julius - twelve

Looking back is very painful.

Only Julius knows what happened that night.

He was drunk and just wanted to fall asleep.

Karina, however, was talking away, 'Let's play a game, I have one.

Let's pretend I am Annika and you are Uffe.'

Suddenly Julius was wide awake, 'Why would we want to be them?

Am I not good enough? Are you mocking me?'

Karina could sense his anger.

She continued with her game of pretend, 'My dear Uffe, don't you know what I want?'

Slowly she touched his face.

Kissing him, 'Uffe, you are so handsome.'

For a few seconds, Julius lets her go on.

It does not feel right, 'That's enough, Karina, I want to sleep.'

Again she kisses him, 'But Uffe, I want you.'

Julius pulls away from her.

'Karina, just stop and go to sleep.'

The game is over, she has lost, she rages, 'Is it about your cancer?'

That does it; Julius boils with wrath.

'My cancer has nothing to do with your games!'

'You never talk about it. You will not even go for treatment!'

She knows just what to say to anger him.

'Let's not do this now!'

'No! Let's do this now!' she screams.

'I cannot love you when you want to die!'

Karina gets off the bed.

'You're a fool, Julius! A stupid fool!

You don't want to face your problems; you're weak!'

Julius has finally had enough.

With one leap, he grabs her arms

He pushes her against the wall; she is furious.

'You're going to kill me? I am so used to your abuse.

Maybe we'll die together, babe, just like you want.'

'Damn it, woman!' Julius shouts.

He starts to shake and jerk her.

Then he punches her in her stomach and sides.

He kicks her without hesitation.

But Karina does not make a sound, 'This is what you get for being a whore!'

She curls up; she's hurt.

When Julius is done, he leaves her.

Is it still abuse if she asked for it?

The room has become mute.

He watches as she opens her eyes.

Slowly she gets to her feet, hurt and afraid.

Karina doesn't look at him.

'I am going to the swimming pool.'

He doesn't see her taking her phone with her.

'Now, don't you come back!'

Karina opens the door, she looks sad: 'You will never know how much I love you.'

Then she starts to run.

He hears her footsteps in the hallway.

Julius turns and falls asleep from too much wine.
