The door is already open.

Alanda knew she would see Nakia again.

The detective wants to ask more of his questions.

Alanda has started to shake.

She knows she'll have to act normal.

Luckily Makar took Govonna for a walk this morning.

Govonna has been very tense.

She doesn't want to talk about anything.

But Alanda doesn't know how long they'll be out.

So she'll make this quick.

'Detective Nakia, have you found the murderer?

I cannot stop thinking about Karina and her death.

Karina was a good woman.

She was my friend, just like family.

It is a pity we grew apart so quickly.'

'Please come and sit, Alanda.'

The detective points at the other chair.

'I have a few questions I need answers to.'

Alanda sits and tries relaxing.

She has always been a good liar.

If detective Nakia can make this quick, she'll survive.

'Thank you for your time.

We are still looking for Penn Sabitov.

Has he come here? Have you seen him before?'

Alanda shakes her head vigorously.

'I am afraid I've never met him.

Do you think he has been murdered as well?'

Nakia does not show emotion.

He also does not answer her question.

'You lied to me... about going to South Africa...'

Stunned, Alanda tries to swallow.

She does not know how to answer.

How will she survive prison without Makar or Govonna.

'It all does make sense.

Karina hurt you; it was your revenge.

All I don't understand is that Makar is alive.

You killed her for nothing.

Just admit it and take your punishment.'

The detective looks closely at Alanda; she is pale.

'I did not kill Karina.

Yes, I saw her in Cape Town.

It was by chance, but I didn't do it.'

Nakia wants to believe her.

'Alright then, please explain this to me:

Why all along did Karina think she killed Makar...'

Just then, the door opens.

Makar and Govonna steps into the room.

'Why is there a police officer outside our door?'

Then Makar sees detective Nakia.

His rage is immediate; he is furious.

But detective Nakia is not afraid; he's seen worse.

'You again! Just leave us!

Don't you see you are not welcome!

How dare you come back to upset my wife!'

Again, Govonna starts to cry.

This time Nakia does not leave her.

He walks to Govonna and asks, 'Tell me everything.'

The blind girl looks away.

She can only hear a reassuring voice.

Makar has stopped shouting and also looks at Govonna.

Luckily Govonna will not speak.

She loves Alanda and Makar too much.

They are in this mess together. They are family.

Nakia asks Govonna one question.

'Do you know who killed Karina Sabitov?'

Nakia can see Govonna is tempted to say something.

Detective Nakia repeats the question:

'Do you know who killed Karina Sabitov?'

If he gets Govonna to confess, it'll be over.

But the girl looks away.

It's no use; he needs more time.

'Get out!' Makar shouts, 'Come back with a warrant!'

Detective Nakia nods, 'I will.'

'I did not kill Karina,' Alanda says.

Nakia shows no emotion; he does not believe Alanda.

'But you did,' Govonna whispers.

Nakia heard it; they all heard it.

Govonna speaks louder, 'You killed her son as well.'

'Penn?' Nakia cannot believe it.

Again Govonna breaks down into loud sobs.

She has done the one thing she shouldn't do.

Then everything happens very fast.

Nakia whistles and two young policemen appear.

He motions them to arrest Alanda and then Makar.

'I am sorry,' Govonna says.

There are too many noises for her.

All she knows is that her parents are gone.

Detective Nakia can finally breathe.

'Do not worry Govonna; you'll be fine.

I'll make sure they look after you,' Nakia states.
