The newspapers say it all.
Karina Sabitov has been murdered; she's dead.
Even on TV, Karina's death has found new fame.
Moscow wants her case unravelled.
Why was Karina dead in a pool?
It is no surprise to Zadok when Nakia calls.
'Have you solved the case?'
'No,' Nakia sounds tired. 'I have not.'
Zadok wants to encourage Nakia not to give up.
'Nakia, you can do this.
It probably is the husband... Julius Sabitov...
The newspapers say he is a real angry buffalo.'
'That is what I thought.
But you are wrong on this one.
Julius is not the killer; the case seems... deeper.'
'Deeper? I do not understand.'
There is a pause on his side.
'You know, something or someone that has not appeared.'
'Go with your gut Nakia.'
Zadok knows how Nakia is always thinking.
'You should have seen her body... so many bruises.'
'The killer is a man?'
Again, a slight pause before the answer.
'No, I think not, but her husband is brutal.'
'That poor woman,' Zadok understands.
'There is so little evidence to collect.
It is making me crazy just to sit around.'
'Then don't,' Zadok sounds blunt.
'Come back and have a strong whiskey.
The clues will come to you; they always do.'
