Every new beginning is difficult, precisely unexpected.
I fathomed nothing less.
I knew there were going to be challenges, I knew I had no plans, I knew anything could happen but that's life.
I've been living it all my life and after what I had been through, nothing could scare me.
I had two of biggest strengths, my faith in my almighty and my daughter.

A hope of giving her a golden future had become my dream.
For that, the first step was supposed to be taken. It was the most difficult yet easiest thing to do in comparison to the hurdles I was going to face in the near future.
Leaving this family and this city is going to tough.

After I had packed our belongings, I knocked the door of my uncle's study.

He was engrossed in reading his diary before he lifted his head to glance at me.

"Rabia! Come inside, dear." His face lightened up immediately.

"I was just going through the phone number of this school for Bushra. The head master here is my dear friend. I'm sure, there won't be any issue for getting her in." He smiled at me.

I cleared my throat,

"The issue is Bushra can't study here." I said.

"No problem, there are many good schools in our vicinity whichever you like." I immediately held his hand, interrupting him.

He was bewildered.

"I want to go to Adilabad." I let it out.

"Adilabad?" He adjusted his glasses, "Why Adilabad? All of a sudden?"

"Because that's where I belong."

He sighed, "No... We don't have anyone there. We sold that house for bhai's treatment, Rabia."

"It's okay. I can stay on rent. I have already made some arrangements. I don't think that will be a problem."

He shook his head, "And who would look after you, my dear?"

"Chacha, that's the whole point. I don't want anyone to look after me. I'm not a child. I'm a mother." I justified as calmly as I could.

"Exactly, you're a mother of a little girl. Atleast think about your daughter, Rabia. How can I let you live all by yourself?" He was furious.

I inhaled sharply.

"I have come to this conclusion after giving it a lot of thought. Please, trust me. I think it will be better if we stay in Adilabad."

"Okay then, I'll make the arrangements for the three of us to go." He said, standing up.

"No, You don't understand, Chacha. You can't let your life get affected because of me. You have already extended your stay here. Your wife and your daughter needs you." I stated.

"He palmed my cheek, "My daughter here needs me too." He smiled.

"Yes but only your prayers and at the moment, your permission is all I need." I told him.

He rubbed his temples.

"Don't worry, we'll be okay. I promise. You can always call to check on us."

I silently prayed while he stood there contemplating for a minute.

"When did you get so stubborn?" He exhaled.

"Life taught me to be one." I replied.

He placed his hand on my head.

"My bravest child." He said, his eyes glistening with fresh tears.

I instantly wiped them, "You'll take care of yourself and ask Fahad to book your flight ticket."
